  1. How often should we use the lockers, SBD, drive modes to keep them in good shape?

That's a good question. I'm also a noob. When I had my Wrangler I would put it in 4L when backing into my driveway, which is on a steep decline. I got that suggestion from a forum member who had a manual like mine, so as to not wear your clutch out. Sometime, I could get it just right...
  2. Packages and Driving Nannies

No disrespect taken, I agree wholeheartedly. I never been to or driven in LA, just heard about it. I've also driven in different places. Naples Italy and NYC were the scariest, but ATL is just different. I thought it was because there are a bunch of people here from different places, and that...
  3. Packages and Driving Nannies

That's insane, and I thought Atlanta traffic was bad.
  4. Big Bend Bronco Thread

I'm back to the BB again for now. After going over it again, I think I'll be ok with the BB with rear locker, aux switches.and modular top. The wash out floors on the BD are nice but not an absolute need. I almost glad it will be awhile before the Broncos are delivered. it gives me a chance to...
  5. Let's Be Honest About Our Intended Use

I'm daily driving, but would like to hit some easy trails, but no heavy rock crawling. I had always wanted to do something in my jeep. I'd be interested in hitting some dunes also, that looks really fun. I mainly want a fun vehicle to drive around in all kinds of weather and circumstances...
  6. After viewing the new possible pricing chart, who's deciding between BD and OB?

Is that for the 4DR? I ask because when I did the survey the black modular top was available for $1900. I did the survey like I was buying a 2DR. Black Diamond. That 12" screen does look nice sitting in the dash. :)
  7. Black Diamond Bronco Thread

Agreed. The only thing I want from the mid package is the 110V inverter.
  8. Who else is still undecided after the survey pricing?

Yeah, I hadn't even thought about the OBX until after the survey and reading the big thread here.
  9. After viewing the new possible pricing chart, who's deciding between BD and OB?

The three things I really want for my 2DR Bronco are, aux switches, modular top, and locking rear diff. All the other stuff is nice, but not something I have to have. Even the base Bronco comes with more than my jeep had, other than the bigger tires. I've played with Ford's B&P in the past...
  10. Keeping your bronco trim?

I also haven't decided. I'm still leaning toward BB, but thinking about BD as well. The Bronco was never going to be my main fun weekend vehicle, I have my M2 for that. It"s going to be my daily driver to work and run around town car, just like my Jeep was. I do want to go off road some, but...
  11. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

I got the email, I thought I was on to something until I found this merged thread LOL. You've all covered just about everything. I realize any direction I go I'm spending a little more than planned. Oh well.
  12. TFL's Feelings About Bronco Because No Party Invite?

I guess I see it differently. I didn't agree with everything they said, but It's not bothering me to the level it seems to be with some of you. I think you all should take their videos with a grain of salt. I think they made some valid points, but also said some things for entertainment value...
  13. Any Georgia dealer doing invoice price or better?

I'll be watching this thread, and I bookmarked Granger's website. I emailed the dealer I have my reservation with, about ADM and X-plan and have heard nothing as of yet. The dealer is Alan Vigil. It's sort of my fault, because they emailed me a month ago not long after I reserved my Bronco...
  14. Built in the USA-How important is it for you?

Lot's of opinions here, and I've heard a lot of the arguments before. (There's some truth to some of it according to my mother who worked for Ford on the assembly line.). I will just say it's wasn't a deciding factor for me, but I'm glad it is being built in the U.S.A. Both my parents...
  15. CNET Video: “From the Pope to OJ Simpson: The Ford Bronco's bizarre backstory“

Love seeing the history of the Bronco. When I had my 96 2DR Explorer sport, people would sometime call it a Bronco.
  16. BIG BEND (sas and mid) vs BLACK DIAMOND (mid only)

I didn't look that much at the BD at the beginning and didn't realize it had the aux switches and rear locker standard. Those are the two options I wanted to add to the BB. The washout interior with drain plugs were just icing on the cake, and the rock rails & upgraded bash plates are above what...
  17. I just drove a new Ford Ranger w/ 2.3L from Alabama to Pennsylvania

I planned on getting the 2.3, but not so sure now. I haven't owned any late model Ford for a long period of time. I has a 17 Focus RS and loved it. That car had the dreaded head gasket issue and I had to have my cylinder head replaced, along with the correct gasket installed under warranty...
  18. Is the new Bronco a "classless" vehicle?

Living near Atlanta, I've seen all kind of jeep configurations. At my job I see several lifted Jeeps, & trucks that often give a noob like me ideas on what to get LOL. Most of the lifted vehicles are nicely detailed and clean. Every once in awhile, and very rarely; I'll see a jeep or 4 runner...
  19. Big Bend Bronco Thread

I'm still on board with the BB for now, but it will depend how things look after the build & price it up. The Black Diamond has all the stuff I was going to option on the BB and a little more. It may be worth the extra 3k.
