Yep, I understand the business model, I just don't support it. My local dealer will order you anything you want, no deposit, no hassle, take it or leave it when it comes in.

Are you talking about the other dealer? What "fees" did they try to add? A non-refundable deposit to order a vehicle is no bueno for me, complete BS.

If you need/want a hitch, lots of DIY options out there for reasonable cost. If you are just using it for a hitch rack or something, no need to complete the wiring. If you are pulling a trailer, any Ford dealer can activate the module, or you can do it in Forscan.

I don't care for the wheel design/color, but if you like them, its a great deal for sure.

I looked at those, but ended up getting a set of OEM rings that were already damaged for half the price of the SFR's. Now I just swap them, pending my activity, which is 90% date night style with the powder coated rings. 💋

Yeah, it's the thread lock that makes the bolts come out with resistance. Once you clean that off, and blow out the holes, and never-seize them, you can spin them in/out with your fingers. I also have two ring sets, a powder coated set for date night, and a trash set for trails. Now I use my 18V...

Along with what has already been mentioned, I highly recommend removing the thread lock from the bolts with a wire wheel, then applying a dab of anti-seize compound prior to re-installation. Also a good idea to use some compressed air to blow out the holes in the wheels. Do this, and swapping...
