This is not your typical cheap Fram filter. Do some research, you will discover this is one of the best quality filters out there. It is not cheap in price either, but a solid value for the quality of the filter.
Motorcraft full synthetic is not the best oil choice either, according to many...
I've been interested in these as well....the value card is strong. Assuming you test drove prior to order....impressions? I think my tuned Maverick might be the perfect DD, but I would consider an upgrade to a RR... 🤠
(I figure no one will mind a hijack, since the rtr has been thrashed...
Sounds a lot like the Fram Synthetic Endurance, IMO, really hard to beat for the price, and always in stock at Wallyworld...

Those look very handy! I hate the OEM mesh pockets, pretty useless IMO. I've tried to find a fixed plastic open bin with no luck, may have to give these a try....
Arguing subjective subjects is always entertaining.... 🤠
If you are not DD'ing your Bronco, I don't see why it even matters. The top should be off most of the time anyway. 😎
If you're heading up, you're taking the long way....😉
Wifey & I are thinking about this one as well, but probably in May. We've vacationed in that area many times, endless outdoor related things to do.
Let us know how it goes. 🤠
Was the oil at the correct level prior? Did you shut it down as soon as the oil light came on? notice anything usual prior to the oil light? How did you get it home?
Agree with Ducati, you need to figure out where the oil is coming from.... see how much drains out, refill it, get a friend to...
That's a fair point, it's important to distinguish subjective "vibrations" between normal & acceptable for conditions, vs some kind of problem. It can be very difficult, even for experienced technicians.
Is this a recent phenomenon, or it's been going on for a while? Have you documented the conditions from the beginning? It will be hard to get a dealer to touch this on warranty, based on your description. The best you can do is document everything, in real time & miles, make sure your dealer...
The kind of garbage these dealers spew out is really hilarious, in a sad way.
It's most likely some kind of imbalance in the TC, and/or the front diff/axles/driveshaft, and probably not a big concern. If it slowly gets worse, if could be a bearing issue. I would just make mental notes of it...
80K on the OEM MT's is impressive! I would probably just try to find a new set of the same thing, or some barely used take-offs. They seemed to have served you well!
With an Ecoboost engine, that is not exactly true. Peak efficiency & HP/TQ numbers are published by Ford by using 91 octane gas. Using gas with lower octane will not only reduce peak HP/TQ, it will also adversely effect FE, yes fractionally, but it's still something greater than zero. The...
