Nope, pricing is exactly what I expected. 4Runner and Bronco are too different off-road vehicles for me to even compare. 4Runners are boring in comparison to a Bronco.
Sounds like you’ve pretty much made up your mind though. Get yourself a 4Runner. I know I’ll enjoy a Bronco much more.
Getting a Badlands. 95% of the time it’ll be on paved roads since it’ll also be my daily driver. It’ll also be my weekend warrior to go to the beach, camping, and doing mild 4x4 trails. Not going to do any rock crawling and don’t feel bad that I won’t either.
Sticking with what I’ve been planning! I’m getting exactly the options I want at exactly the price I predicted it would cost.
2DR Badlands = $42,095
2.7EB/10-AT = $3,500
High Package = $2,700
Destination Fee = $1,495
Total Before TTL = $49,790
My limit was $50K before TTL. So I have ~$210 to...
I’m guessing reservations will end a week or two before orders begin being placed. But may be as soon as October 31st once dealerships are locked in.
I didn’t share my reservation number, but going by this list I’d be in the top 25. Which is interesting since my reservation was placed a little before 1 AM EST on July 14th.
I’m pretty sure the numbers aren’t in sequential order of when the reservations were placed. I think an algorithm...
Sort of disappointing they're trying to cover their butts by naming it "Early Build & Price". 2021 F-150 order banks have been open for weeks now and they still don't have a fully fledged B&P tool out yet.
I've been building 2021 F-150's this morning in the new B&P tool and I've already encountered many bugs. Not sure what is going on at Ford with taking forever to release these tools and then once they're released they still buggy...
Honestly, many dealers probably don’t care to check. They’d rather just give you the X-Plan price with a PIN than lose a sale over a membership duration requirement.
Was 90% 2DR when I reserved up until a couple weeks ago. Now it’s about 60% 2DR.
That 4DR has more to offer than just more space:
- Larger fuel tank
- Cargo leveling tray (OEM)
- Rear seat vents
- 8/10-way power seats
- Stowable doors
Would also make getting my big dog into the vehicle...
If that is antimatter blue then I no longer know what to think of that color. Looks almost black in some photos and then looks almost like velocity blue in this one.
Velocity Blue wasn’t even in the running for me until this. I want to know how late “late availability” really is. Might be something worth waiting for as long as it’s not too long.
