Noticed this on my front passenger door yesterday when I went to open the door and it was outside of the seated spot. Also, when I go to roll it down, the auto down/up doesn't work. Going to try this fix on my break in a bit.
I doubt there is a clearcoat, unless they hand painted clear over the orange section...But I think that would have kept it from fading, so probably not....
Well, seems like I shouldn't hold my breath for a response on the paint fade on my Bandlands script badge....I love the item, quality is impeccable, but the orange is now significantly lighter than "badlands orange" the only reason I haven't really raised a stink yet is how nice it is...I...
In no particular order:
1. Correct the gauge cluster
2. fewer interior rattles
3. a saddle brown interior option
4. address the rain dripping when the windows or doors are down/open
5. rear AC vents
6. some standout colors
Man, I remember tracking mine on the railcar, then following the tracks on google maps trying to figure out how much further it would go that day. Then when it got to the transfer yard and sat for 3 days, trying to figure out if I could pick it up there myself. lol
Things I would like to see, but wouldn't make me trade my '22:
-digital instrument cluster
-better water management from top (not drip in windows)
-digital rearview mirror so it functions when top is down
-bolder colors
-higher quality interior plastics/materials
-interior colors/options similar...
I dont have an answer for you other than every swing gate vehicle i have ever seen swings to the right.... jeep, lexus GX....even older CRVs and rav 4s.....not sure why it swings away from the curb, but it is annoying from time to time.

Question, where do you think Toyota will price/position the 4Runner? With the new Landcruiser dropping down a segment, will they have to drop the 4Runner down too? Like no more $60K limited or TRDPro models? So less lux and 4x4 tech. Or is there room for them to be similar to what they have...
