I was going to say wrap it after watching so many Youtubers wrap their cars and seeing how well it protects. but more I think about it, how often are you going to have the doors off? I think it would be annoying to see the original color doorjambs if you wrap a bronco and take the doors off.
So are dealers going to eventually require an additional down payment closer to when we ACTUALLY order these things?
asking because everyone keeps saying “60% of reservations won’t convert to orders” or whatever. But if all you will have to do is fill out the order form online In December and...
One thing I just realized is the color of the interior accents (like stitching, grab handles, etc.) may play a factor in which trim level I end up choosing...how dumb is that.
I have no justification for spending $50+K for a vehicle that I will use for its intended purpose like twice a year and could probably spend closer to $40K if I didn't want the big screen.......
but here I am ;)
I wonder if all these aftermarket systems that people are mentioning can be done for cheap, will still function the first time you get caught in a downpour because you left your top at home or the first time that big mud pit on the trail runs up into your interior?
I think for the white top - and especially fenders- to work, the bumper and grille need to be chrome (or white) like the old school ones.
white top, black bumper, grey grille just looks like a weird hodge podge of colors...
I think A51 has moved into the lead for me, with Cactus and Velocity tied for 2nd. And if Iconic Silver has that liquid metal look to it in real life, ti will be pretty sweet.
I am right there with you. It requires MORE attention from me to use ACC. Especially on the highway, because if I am not constantly monitoring it, it will follow a car 3x further back that I would (even the closest setting) without telling me I am going 52 instead of 60 for the last 3 miles....
Wireless carplay is totally supported by Apple. It is directly on their website in the set up carplay section. You have to hold down the voice command button and you're good to go. It depends on if the automaker offers it.
Well, hope that is another thing they clear up before we have to order, because there is zero point to a wireless charger without wireless Carplay for me.
That's news to me, so wireless Carplay will only work if I pay for Nav? That seems odd, I just figured it was a part of Sync 4 like I have read. I'm not paying for Nav when my phone does it free..
I'm on the fence with the lux package. I despise ACC, so they can leave that out, but I want the B&O and am interested in the wireless charger since Sync 4 has wireless carplay.
Sure. I really like the new Bronco, I am not looking to switch. I have no nostalgic ties to it, but I also have no ties to an FJ. Nothing against the FJ, they are cool, but I am happy with how the new Bronco has turned out. The only thing that would make me switch would be an IH Scout, and it...
Hey everyone. Thanks for the invite @SkullsWalk. I’m in the Richmond area (Midlothian). I currently have a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and do some light off roading, but looking forward to the Bronco and doing some roof off shenanigans.
I’m kinda leaning Badlands no squatch, but then the WT has most of the upgrades I want stock (V6, hardtop, etc). Was going to approach it from a use-case angle and see if that helped.
