I do, when it comes off it’s off for the season. Then I can chuck the little dude in the back starsky and hutch style.
I’m thinking about grabbing a Bestop TrekTop for the rig just for some added flexibility since it runs in a few configurations fairly easily.
@Alpha1_Silverback they look fantastic, I love the poke. It’s got a nice stance and I like that tread pattern. Did it change the feel of the drive at all? Recognizing you went from 33s to 35s.
Heretic Studio makes this one which is actually really nice and low profile.
I’ve been holding out for @Baja Designs to release an OnX6 style light bar like that so I can give them more of my money.
I’m just imagining you walking around with a broken arm because you’re so busy you forgot to go to the doctor several times. And yes I’m not going to be the last one to haze you here about this. None of us want to see you in a tragic post about a seat belt failure than ended in your demise.

I didn’t get a rail or step yet. I’m waiting on RTR to release theirs. That’s the one I want and will ultimately need to reach stuff on the roof rack. The rear facing wasn’t that bad. I did a brief write up on it in another thread. We took a whole family vacation from Cleveland, OH to St. Louis...
I’ve had a 2 door BaseSquatch since the end of June. My son was very small so we started using a rear facing infant seat and now he’s in a front facing booster style seat. I’m 5’9” and I haven’t had issues getting him in and out. Sometimes we’re in and out multiple times per day.
It has become...
@Dirty Bronco I figured it’s pretty central, big parking lot, and yes Louisiana lickers haha! Should we get one in during winter or wait for warmer weather and do topless Tuesdays?
I’m in for sure, in Cleveland Heights and ready to link up with you guys! There is a bunch of place out East that are good for meeting up like Solon, Willoughby, Mayfield Village but what about Quaker Steak in Valley View on Canal?
The EZ rack is a good modular set up. I don’t always want to roll around with the cans on so being able to disconnect it for around-town driving is nice.
I’m waiting for the Hobbs or Gobi rack, which ever comes first, so I have a back up location to strap the cans down if I have to use my spare.
This build was waiting to be picked up at my dealership today. I took my BaseSquatch in for service and my sales guy told me it’s sold he’s just waiting for the customer to get it. He was pretty certain he’s not on B6G. So we won’t be able to haze him for waiting to get his rig.
It also had...
I don’t know if the pancreas dude above is married but I hear you man.
getting some snow here in Cleveland and I’m going to let the old lady Tokyo drift to work tomorrow while I sit at home and figure out how many scenarios there are for me to make the playoffs in fantasy.
an accurate assessment. I don’t think there is much improvement that can be made on the clamp style for the notch in the MIC top. If there is it’s marginal at best.
I think a true improvement is a rack that extends down to mount to the body where the MIC top is secured. This would at least...
So Hobbs is sending me the brush guard AND the roof rack. They have been in touch to let me know it has to ship crate and they are trying to get a decent quote before sending it across the nation.
I’m not sure why but they sent the rear brackets separately and I just got them today. I’m hoping...
I was going to do this but had a couple concerns:
1) added weight to the tailgate door and how it would hold up.
2) with the fuel container seemingly right up against the door handle, wouldn’t that prevent operation of the tailgate?
I could always stack 2 on the right but just had some...
I’ve been thinking about picking this up as well. I was hoping to be able to mount over the side windows on the clamshell but this could be the simplest solution and very easy to remove when not in use.
