I second this, not so much about the cost but more so about the end caps of the modular bumper coming off and leaving the last light peeking out. Iād even be okay with one squadron and one S2 on each side. Iām sure theyāll eventually roll those options out. There is too much money in the...
Iām sure theyāll flag this for process improvement as they get a larger sampling of data for QC. But as someone who worked a decade for a company that RF sealed polyurethane foam pad sets for the military, I have no concerns with this. I realize they could have relocated the ripple/fold under...
So I think Iām going 50% (legal limit in Ohio) on the front two windows and 30 on the rest. I feel like 20 would be too high a contract between the two levels and I think the black interior will make 30 appear darker than it actually is.
Iām very interested to see if the ceramic tint has any...
@Mitch Panda Motorworks nice work scooping up a wild Bronco! Iāll be down in STL next month with a 2 door BaseSquatch. Iām very interested to see what you have in store for these rigs.
Thanks JT! My dealer is awesome but I was not a priority and they didnāt have a lot of allocations. Theyāre a smaller dealer and I think I just got lucky is all. I hope you donāt have to cancel your order because youāre going to love the BaseSquatch! I canāt comment on the gas suckage of the 2.7...
I have an appointment scheduled for 7/22 to get the tint done. Iām still deciding on percentages. Iām hesitant to go too dark on the front windows because I have a road trip coming up and I know the Staties are already going to be looking at me. Weāll see what the final result is and of course...
You can roll the windows down using my the unlock button on the remote. I didn't test out if you can roll them back up using the lock button but I'll have to check that out today. What do you mean but central locking?
I posted a few more pictures in the original post - light controls, underbelly shots, and rear power & cubby.
I have S2 Pro Driving/Combos ordered but BD has a disclaimer of potential 4-6 lead times on orders so weāll see if I truly have to wait that long (not a big deal if I do).
Also...
On the base with the manual release bar for the seat position, there isnāt much room under the seat but you definitely could keep some straps or cables under there. I would suggest putting them in a draw string bag and then sliding them under so nothing gets tangled up while youāre riding around...
sorry I just realized that I never responded to you. I moved down from the BD to the BaseSquatch because I felt like I was getting more value per dollar in the BaseSquatch. It was like $6k difference for a vehicle that was nearly the same mechanically with a couple extra features that were nice...
It can be done but they won't be anchored/secured like they are in the 4 door. However, there are ways that you can rig the bag securely in the vehicle you just have to be creative.
Keep in mind that it will be dependent on the seat position for the driver and front passenger because the...
Here are a few screen shots from the FordPass App
There is an onboard modem in the vehicle that connects it to the app so the remote range and locking and unlocking can be done from almost anywhere from what I understand. You can also use the app to locate the vehicle but I havenāt enabled...
It's surprising, the acceleration at 60mph to 70mph on the highway last night caught me off guard. Not much lag and it was smooth. Coming from the Tiguan with the 2.0T there was some lag there in the same situation.
Based on the computer, the range is about 320 miles on a tank. I'm averaging a little above 16 right now. I have not done any road trips on it yet. The only thing on the radar right now is a trip to STL in mid August to get a couple buddies and check on the ORV trail in St. Joe's State park.
I just noticed today that the back up camera has a zoom feature. Maybe this is something thatās been available in cars for a couple years and I missed it, but itās pretty cool and useful.
I just took it on the highway for the first time and even though Iām trying to keep the revs low, I can feel that it has quite a bit of power just lurking. Again, Iām not driving hard, but accelerating from 60-70mph was effortless this thing is not a dog, thatās for sure. Let me get through the...
