You can roll the windows down using my the unlock button on the remote. I didn't test out if you can roll them back up using the lock button but I'll have to check that out today. What do you mean but central locking?

On the base with the manual release bar for the seat position, there isn’t much room under the seat but you definitely could keep some straps or cables under there. It's surprising, the acceleration at 60mph to 70mph on the highway last night caught me off guard. Not much lag and it was smooth. Coming from the Tiguan with the 2.0T there was some lag there in the same situation.
