I’m not familiar with what wiring comes with those but you will need a splitter (y-shaped cable) of some sort to connect the two lights together and then you will connect the end of the splitter to the powered wire for the aux switch you want.
So we have seen the tires from the off roadeo Broncos but what about MIC tops? Those are going to be about as early as it gets, right? They’ve been jacked around on the courses and probably baking out in the summer sun, can anyone report back? It would awesome to see if they have snake skin or...
Negative, I should have take a picture of the mirror cover removed but unless you notch the top piece, there is nowhere to run the wires inside that mount.
My top seems to be fine right now. Maybe the issues are lurking and taking longer to come out but I too have heard and seen the issues with the tops but have not experienced any firsthand. I feel bad for those that are dealing with the quality issues first hand, I hope that Ford works to get...
I understand where you’re coming from on the free advertising but they can’t give everyone with a Bronco free stuff just cause they’re posting up their brand to a large audience. I’m doing this for the members so that someone getting their Bronco has resources to build their rig. This forum is...
I’m going to see how bad the reflection is on the widespread part of the lense. I may flip the lenses around to keep the spot on the inside. It’s 9° for the spot and 42° for the cornering. Just got power to them this morning. I gotta clean up the wires and take photos for y’all.
great point, looking at the fuse size, I’ll
Probably move them to position 3, this will keep positions 1 and 2 open for future light bar, and other higher draw items. Thank you!
The rigid pod lights are a nice size, I was liking those initially. The diode dynamic lights are great, I think they were a bit less than the BD (for what I was looking at). I’ll get pics on this post once I finish wiring them up. The total out the door cost for the Baja Designs set up was $362.
I am considering a light bar but I’m waiting to see if 4WP will make their roof frame available for the 2 door, that will sort of dictate what I look at based on mounting options on that rack.
it does have night mode, you can have it automatically switch between dark and light mode depending on how much daylight is being sensed by the vehicle.
I did not get their fog kit yet, I’m waiting to see if they offer something with a few less lights. But 100% want to get the SAE Amber Squadrons on there.
Most definitely! I think for most, running Squadrons would also be acceptable. I don’t think the squadron is a very large bodied light. I was just wanting to be discreet.
BD actually has their a-pillar kit for the Bronco ready for pre-order I believe.
So I took delivery of a pair of S2 Pro lights today that I mounted in the pod position. I took care of the cowl mounting first to see what kind of space I was working with underneath and it looks managable.
I also got the upfitter wiring harness and the 55" splitter to run both lights off a...
For those of you watching this thread - The BD lights I ordered got delayed but they should be getting delivered today, I will get some pictures posted up of the lights tonight.
BD Lights were delivered, I have them mounted to the location I want but not wired up just yet. See below for part...
