The only shot at making dealers pay for marking up hand-raiser allocations, is for Ford to cut those dealers’ allocations going forward. I’m dubious that Ford will actually do anything, though, frankly.
Ford has consistently let the dealers take advantage of regular Bronco reservations but I...
I haven’t looked into this much, admittedly, I just see a lot of Teslas on the road and when I clicked the link that you cited, it literally says:
“Until 2018, the Chevrolet Volt had been on the market the longest and had the most overall sales, but the model was discontinued in 2019. In 2018...
EVs are largely just luxury vehicles for rich people, subsidized by taxes. I’m surprised so few see this after a decade of it right there in front of you on the road lol.
Rumored to be 3k produced in 2022. Some early reservations are mixed in this year for Ford’s optics, but really it’s an auction.
Of course there will be a Bronco Raptor in 2023.
That was my suspicion earlier. Sounds like your dealer is slow walking your order because it’s a GT. It doesn’t matter so long as the order is in by the 28th. Ford does the scheduling after that.
I think the fact that Ford created the hand-raiser program shows that they’re cognizant of the optics. They don’t want anymore articles written about ADMs right now.
Can you imagine the backlash Ford will get if the early reservations are built after the people who paid an ADM to skip the line? That’s basically rewarding the behavior that Ford publicly says it is committed to rooting out. Ford made the hand-raiser program so they wouldn’t have egg on their...
This is what’s happening. It’s all over the Bronco Raptor forum here and elsewhere.
The notion that Bronco Raptors were going to people with early reservations, simply is not true.
My guess is, the dealers are getting all of their ADM orders in first because they think that will help them get built first, but Ford will build them in the order that Ford determines after all the orders are in.
