This felt like they realized it was better installed at Webasto in that part of the process than selectively installed here and there at MAP. A margin of error play.
While it makes sense, and clearly you're more in the know than most, I just don't see this as being a solution. They likely sourced the washer components based upon projections and if they offer this on soft tops these components would likely just become the next constrained items. Therefore...
Seems like they must be pre-production. No noticeable "lip" on the top corners and totally different handle styling than these.

Grangetober reservation here so I didn't think I would get one till late in the year at best. Missouri is a property tax state so if my Bronco shows up before the Jan 1 tax statement date I'd owe more property taxes on it than if I just owned my 4Runner. So a December delivery would cost me more.
Won't win that one. Born when my parents lived at greater Mack and Rosedale and my grandparents were the log cabin back on Overlake behind St. Joan of Arc that always did Halloween hanging candy bars from the rafters on crepe paper. I know Detroit well.
A lot of people don't get this. Ford partnered with the one company that could provide to Fords standards and needs. Webasto isn't some joke, they're international with the resources to commit to the partnership by building a facility by MAP. Others in the mix would likely have even bigger...
Nice find.
1. Throw a ladder in your own vehicle. Drive up to the house. Pull out the ladder. Knock on the door and explain you noticed they've got a branch and some leaves on the roof that could serve as a possible obstruction for the gutters and your Boy Scout nature can't let you not offer...
Not a big deal though. They've changed the bull bar so it blocks the lower part of the P so nobody knows it's missing the bottom part - b - so folks will assume it's a real Bronco.
A quick search shows Jeep has all sorts of delays going on as well. On a vehicle that isn't a new launch. So maybe this stuff is hard in the current climate.
Or maybe it's Fords fault.
Am in 100%. Was going to hold onto my 2006 F-150 (until it fell victim to the 5.4 oil issue) until the Bronco came out. I loved that truck. It shot craps so the 4Runner was to tide me over till this. I didn't want model year 1 so I was thrilled with Grangetober and getting a 22. Worried it...
