There's no other stops between the depot an my dealership at this point.
I messaged my dealership last week and was told they only get vehicles delivered Monday through Thursday from the depot, so there's no where else my rig can be right now.
The main bummer - I'm coincidentally in the same city (SF) as the dealership I ordered it from. I live 400 miles away in LA.
I may end up booking another flight to pick her up this week if it gets shipped from the depo. I wanted adventure with this thing -so I guess this is part of it!
Not to complain - but this whole process is fascinating. We're so connected but the "last mile" is always a scramble.
But Kudos to Ford - launching a brand new vehicle in the midst of a global pandemic. Gonna be so, so sweet to drive that thing off the dealership lot.
I like both - I've done the two door coupe thing, it's great but I like the extra bit of utility a 4 door gives me.
I'm buying a 4 door Bronco with the intent of driving friends, family, and gear around. I'd much rather have two rear doors to access the back versus leaning over a seat.
I...
Dealer said they may receive the Bronco from the depot today, otherwise it'll be ready sometime next week.
Fingers crossed it gets loaded today, in time for me to fly up this weekend for pickup!
Called CSX again and it says the railcar has been unloaded and released to the customer. I'm guessing this means the Bronco will hopefully be loaded for transit to the dealership!
Morning team!
I cracked and finally got the rail car number from Ford this morning! It looks like it's in Richmond, CA, which is the closest rail yard to my dealership!
Fingers crossed that I may can pick her up sometime this weekend!!
