  1. Performance Chip 2.7 engine

The directions are provided online (the QR code included will take your directly to them). They are quite clear and easily followed. One thing that isn't mentioned anywhere and I fought for a minute is you cannot have both cables (usb to PC and DLC connector cable) connected at the same time...
  2. Post your Bomb Cyclone mega snow storm Bronco pics 🌨️ 🌬️

Spent over 26 hours straight rescuing stranded motorists out on I76 with the Bronco!
  3. Motorhead Mountain Recreation and Recovery Build 👷🏻‍♂️

Here are the radio install details. I wanted the ham radio to be tucked out of the way when not in use. So I put in a few extra steps to make that happen. Since my Yeasu FTM400XDR has a remote head unit, it made it easy to put each components out of the way, but still completely functional. The...

  5. Tire chains purchases begun

If you saw the front clearance with stock offset, you would understand!
  6. Tire chains purchases begun

Here are some pictures of the tire chains with an Icon 3" lift and my 37" tires, and Method 0-offset wheels. Plenty of clearance for the chains to the control arms now. A 1.25" spacer would work just as well if keeping the stock wheels or near-stock offset. The chains will get pretty close...
  7. Motorhead Mountain Recreation and Recovery Build 👷🏻‍♂️

It is my experience. I am swapping lifts to gain that extra Inch (that’s what she said) and will be able to pinpoint the difference. I believe it’s the perch collar of the Zone vs the spring preload spacer. I am going to compare the two as I knew my lift was smaller than others and want to know...
  8. Motorhead Mountain Recreation and Recovery Build 👷🏻‍♂️

Yep, no issues. I am quite happy with these, but saving my stock units until their reliability have been determined! Backing up at night is much better!
  9. 2022 Wildtrak Speedometer reading 2mph fast

Mine and the others I know are off as well. Use Forscan and correct it if you are like me and are a bit OCD about indicated speed. At least being a couple fast helps keep you from a speeding ticket (and helps your fuel mileage as well). Lots of my vehicles have had speedometers off. I have just...
  10. LIGHTNING BLUE Bronco Club

This is a long post. I was going to start a build thread a year ago, but work and life have kept me busy. With a few weeks off, I decided to catch you all up. We picked up our FE in November 2021 from Granger Ford. We ordered the factory tow wiring and hitch, remote keypad (relocated to the fuel...

  12. Ford Performance Calibration Tune for 2.7L Bronco's AVAILABLE NOW! - Lethal Performance

Normal mode shifting is improved, you might not have to make the change anymore. After 37s, I switched to sport each time, after the tune, I typically dont.
  13. Ford tune and Dyno?

The benefits would be 1) validate any increases (which we would all love to see). 2) The tuner could verify good, safe AFRs. The downside is they wouldn’t be able to make any changes to the FPP tune, so it’s not as if they would be making any tune changes if things weren’t right. I felt an...
  14. FPP ProCal 4 Datalogging *Problem Solved*

Just to close this out; FPP called me and had me update my software (or maybe downgrade) and the graphing function works correctly now.
  15. FPP ProCal 4 Datalogging *Problem Solved*

I installed another FPP tune on a different vehicle today and tested the graphing functioning. It worked just the way it should, using my software and laptop. I just left detailed information to FPP's tech department so that they can troubleshoot. Just FYI for those that experience the same issue.
  16. Ford Performance Calibration Bronco 2.7 Tune w/ Procal - Initial Review

There is improvements on tip-in, under normal use, i just haven’t measured it or compared those back to back. To protect the vehicle (detonation and drivetrain damage) the timing drops to negative numbers when tipping in. I can see it on the data logger but have not logged it yet.
  17. Ford Performance Calibration Bronco 2.7 Tune w/ Procal - Initial Review

I am going to call this the 37" tune. As I was using sport mode to add the missing zest that the 37" tires took away. I felt once I installed the FPP tune I didn't need sport mode and that it was feeling like when it had 35s. I put 400 miles on it today; interstate, canyon roads, off-road and...
  18. Ford Performance tune gas mileage impact?

It still detects Octane Adjust Ratio (OAR) the same as any tune. The problem with OAR is while it can quickly detect knock and decrease timing, it is rather slow to update the OAR value that allows it increase the timing back up to the good stuff. Not terribly long, but I would be gentle with...
  19. Oracle flush mounted taillights installed photos [updated with night time pics]

I failed you all. I attempted a picture of the turn signals, but it didn't seem to save. Imagine the Oracle brake light flashing on one side and a blazing awesome amber light on the signature LEDs. Yes, the signature wins out whenever you are turning! :).
