I'm a bit conflicted. I'm all for capitalism but extreme arbitrage is slimy. On the other hand, a fool and his money are easily parted, and anyone who can honestly spend $150,000 to $300,000 on a truck that's only valued at $85,000 truly isn't hurting for money.

I got that letter today. My reservation was July 2020 and my order was October 15, 2021. I'm glad they sent the email, sure it just says to hang tight but at least I know they still have me in the system.

OK This is a subtle but new thing. On my semi-weekly pass through all the available status and tracking tools I hit up the Ford page and the usual "Place Order: In process" has been replaced with "Place Order Complete". I don't know if anything has actually changed with my order status yet...

Yeah I'll just go ahead and keep that towing package on the order thanks. If I'm going to be making big mods to my truck, I'm going to be doing it because it's something the factory can't or won't do for me. (like a roof rack on a 2.7 squatch badlands 4 door, or an onboard air compressor).
