Are those the standard BD floor mats, or are the the ?? option?
Is the lift front or rear?
I think the fancy Bosh Shocks will be crowding E-Bay soon - BD is for me.
Is that frost in Atlanta??
I always use the low range in my old Tahoe to hitch-up and maneuver trailers. I started to exercise the electronic shift, but the low speed makes everything around the driveway easier.
NAPA sells rebuilt calipers with new clips and pads installed - basically a two bolt job once you remove tire. Last I got them was very reasonable (think price of pads and clips from dealer). A great move in snow and salt region.
Nice job. That engine compartment is as ugly a any Jimmy Carter Malaise Era car. I am waiting for a clean-up there and allowing BesTop from factory without buying any of Fords useless tops - and a two month order turnaround - it will happen.
Could not agree more about receiver mount winch. Stays well protected in plastic tub with weight between the axels where it belongs. Receiver winch is available for tractor or trailer duty, not to mention other wheelers. Also agree on backing out and bits of tin and plastic.
The 285/70-17 KO2's are 51 lbs. - mystery solved - caution, that is probably the max weight for factory bearings etc. - do not forget to put OEM's back on before going in for for warranty work.
Ford needs to allow the BesTop fastbacks on 2 &4 doors from the factory - no other junk Ford tops to clutter garage. Aftermarket will come up with insulation for soft top for out of top-down season.
Someone will make a nice fastback, just like Bestop makes a nice soft top. I think you can order the hardtop prep, or Ford is just doing it as everything top wise is such a mess.
the problem with a thrill vehicle like Jeep, Bronco, Vette is that kids, even in a low crime area, will spontaneously take them for a short, destructive run.
I recall reading that with-in a year or so ALL F-150 incorporated the frame changes - these people were doing Ford's tough testing for them - cheaper for Ford to fix this guys car than pay to trash one themselves to figure out a weakness.
The best thing to do for a trail busted warranty visit is a long detailed trip to the self-serve car wash, followed by returning to original wheels and tires, etc., etc.
The scratches underneath are proof that the "bash" plates work - there are no scratches on what they protect - take them off...

This might be a prototype for a China knock off, with a very catchy counterfeit label - do not worry if it doesn't work on standard harness, it will not work on the regular harness either.
