I am camping and wanted to leave my tailgate open, but the mirror lights would stay on for a long time. I tried to lock this on my tailgate - which worked for the lights, but now I can’t unlock it. im ready for bed but want to lock my tailgate up, please help!

Ok, after inspecting everything I'll go to the shop and get some new fuses. As far as I can tell all off the connections and everything are fine.

I have everything pulled apart now, I will go through and double check everything. These terminals here, just bare wire goes into it correct? I believe this is the only place where any copper is showing. Should I try making the exposed copper shorter?

Yes, sorry I forgot to mention that. I did specifically say 2 door when I spoke with AAL before buying everything and they told me the 45 would fit no issue. If I could do it over again I’d probably just get the regular fridge slide and get a tailgate table.

Just a follow up. After many trials and tribulations I was able to make it all fit. RTT is the Inspired Overland Carbon Fiber, and the awning is the OVS 270 LT.

Flip n slide. If you just get the slide from AAL I think it’s a lot shorter. Will have more room.
