Clearly they have a right to own their content and ask for its takedown, which is exactly what they did and the reason behind the removal of content.
You're missing the point, however. It's not IF they can enforce it but SHOULD they and to what end? It's a dumb marketing move plain and simple...
YouTube videos is fine I bet. YouTube’s TOS even says that by uploading your video you grant a license for anyone using YouTube to post or embed your video elsewhere.
Agreed with everyone else. And this move showed once and for all that BN is nothing but a corporate run marketing site by Ford...

Got to put my hands on the vinyl seats today. They are a lot softer than I thought. Definitely softer than leather. They look and feel fantastic. A leather...
Exactly. I posted this before and I'll keep beating the drum because I have a strong personal aversion to my info being sold or shared online, especially when it's done in a duplicitous way.

Of course Ford had to have them out there. They had to be there peddling BN membership plans and swag for sale. But they also had to be on location to shoot material for pumping up their social media content.
The whole point and facade they’re trying to paint with BN is that of an authentic...
They must have missed the parts in the Terms of Service on their own website which disclosed they’re owned by Ford’s marketing firm.
Next time they claim that, someone should show them on the spot using their phone and ask them to define “not affiliated.”
Ford didn't hire a PR firm. They are the PR firm.
So yes a forum which they are associated with and endorse whose staff bullied a customer during a Q&A event (the whole purpose of which was to get info about an upcoming model), that is bad PR. It's not that complicated.
As OP said, I don't think the problem here is what they charge, what you get for the membership fee and whether you want to pay it or not.
The point is that's a real crap way to treat someone who traveled that way to see the new Bronco and is a future owner/customer. For a company like Ford to...
They are owned by Jackson Dawson Communications (as it states in their Terms of Service and other pages on their website) based in Dearborn, MI.
Do some research and you find out that this is a creative marketing firm that is basically owned by Ford and which it uses for a lot of marketing...
