Hell ya we're getting the V6 2.7L Ecoboost from the F-150? Is it too much to hope for the 325hp / 400 lb-ft it generates in the 2018 F-150?
Bless you @Carmaker1
Right, it's going to be built on a car platform and will compete with the Renegade. Ford would do well to give it some more rugged aspects compared to the Renegade, like more ground clearance for one.
Yea that was probably the best business decision they could have made for the 2020 Bronco. 2-door version to appease the traditionalists and 4-door to appease the rest of the market who actually need the space and utility from having 4 doors.
Ford has already confirmed that a 2-door Bronco is coming! :)

You're right. The administrator quoted this article earlier in the thread. Ford confirmed it's a clay model. Best part is they said that it will look similar to this and this is the design theme for the Bronco. :)
Well color me surprised. I thought we'd only be getting a 4 door. Looks like the 2 door in this teaser image.
And I don't think we need to worry about it being a rebadged Everest at least appearance wise.
Fingers crossed you're right. The latest spy pics scare me since it's wearing an Everest body and looks so frumpy but I have to remind myself not to base anything off the body shell. Just hope Ford hits it out of the park with the styling. The renderings by this site have set the bar high :)
The recent spy pics of the NA bound Ranger worries me. I really hope they've got more creative juices for the Bronco than what we're seeing on the Ranger mule so far.

Nice I dig it! Better than closed fixed roof and sounds like it should provide plenty of open air feeling. Just one concern - with that many panels I hope that they're well sealed from air and water though.
The T6 platform has the potential to be legitimate competitor but I think whether it'll really be a legit competitor in the marketplace depends on how hardcore Ford gets with it. If it wants to steal Wrangler buyers that T6 platform will have to be paired with solid axles, removable roof...
Ford doesn't just want the title, they want to comfortably trounce the competition like it's been doing for years.
For what it's worth they sold over 70,000 Rangers in 2011 in the final year of US production. It used to be well over 100,000/year. Bronco sales could be healthy if they can...
Good points, and shows a compelling reason for Ford to bring out both a 2 and 4 door Bronco to cover the largest demographic of buyers while also giving it true off roading abilities instead of just being an SUV with an off-road capable image. The chassis / platform development costs will be...
Yea most of the photos and cars I've seen look more like yours too. I think the one Jim posted was captured in just the right light which made the metallic flakes really pop. Either way it's a nice color, very appropriate for an off road capable car.
Yea the difference between the 2014 F-150 and new aluminum 2015 F-150 was about 700 pounds as revealed by Ford, but this weight reduction was for the biggest/heaviest F-150 model and not all of the weight saving came from the new aluminum construction. Some weight reduction also came from a...
