Looking at the people getting emails, it sounds like Ford is tracking it by people that had orders in the system for a hard top, and then switched to a soft top. No people that listened and switched before ordering are getting the emails it seems. Of course, how would Ford know you switched...

Mine was built in August and delivered in September, still no email either. My switch to a soft top was after I saw the build numbers coming out with hard tops so constrained. I was a 2dr, then to a 4dr to get it earilier. They are probably not reading that as "switching" since it wasnt...

They should go on the Front Fenders right before the front wheel. Like the V6 badge on a 1991 Isuzu Rodeo.

I am sure the regionality has to do with the shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. Also, some of the other states are states where Ford does not sell accessories online anywyas. It has to deal with state specific franchise laws.
