Excellent Video of the process my 1st Edition went through getting protected.
In addition, we had some fun with it after the process. Georgia Clay is not fun to clean off your vehicle. I also already pinched the doors before this and luckily will be protected if that happens again...
@BTomorama Yup. Plenty of pictures and stares. My wife had a guy follow her into a parking lot just to tell her that his brother had one on order. The dude was face-timing his brother to show him our Bronco. Ha!
Funny how I sent my dealer an email with documentation and have gotten crickets since I sent it. I got my 42,000 a couple of days ago but am owed my 220,000. Fingers crossed...
My dealer would send me screen shots of "his view" when I would ask for updates. It didn't give me any more visibility than what the Ford website said. HOWEVER, I wanted to track it by rail and the screenshots he was sending me actually contained the rail car number. It's called the Vehicle...
Thatās too funny @ATLbronco ! Iām just happy and fortunate we can share in the excitement. The community is building and Iām happy to be a part of it. And yes, thereāll be plenty more of us hopefully soon!!š¤š¼
Ha! @ATLbronco Yup! Wife and I were eating at Mission + Market off of Lenox. As soon as we got out spoke to a couple of guys looking at it. Valet said there were many photos taken.
Hard to hide in this thing. Feel like I should hang a sign that says stares will cost $10. Itās fun though!š¤£š
So, um, Yeah. I learned the hard way too. You've got to align the top hinge first. If you tilt the top too high, it'll rub against the front fender. Luckily I'm getting ppf next week so paint correction will get this fixed. Could've been worse but still hurts.
@awerk66 Probably did pass us! Hard to miss it if you see it!! We've gotten plenty of "Jeep waives" and head turns as well as cell phone pics/videos and thumbs up. My wife hates the attention so I guess that means I'll be driving "her car" more!! ;)
Here's a good thread that goes into that. One main difference I'm doing is Buff Guys is ordering the FE graphic stickers and putting the PPF under them vs. on top. That will prevent any air/gap or potential ridges from forming. They also. use the custom made (laser measure) kits from xPel vs. a...
@NewToBronco It sure was! It typically sat during the day and covered most of the distance at night. Made stops in Indy and Nashville then sat in Downtown ATL before finally making it to Lawrenceville. It sat there 2-3 days before finally getting dispatched.
@Hobgoblin Krause just took my money. In January I went in and paid $900 when I ordered. Sales mgr emailed me the order with price on it so I had a signed copy. They didn't mark it up. From Jan through July I only emailed sales manager. He never took my calls but would email back relatively...
Plan is to tint the driver/front passenger windows as well as put UV on the windshield to reduce heat. I plan to post/detail out the process of the ppf. I had another vehicle ceramic coated with Gtechniq and LOVED it. Would do it again but plan on taking the Bronco off-road so ppf may be better...
