Boot is twisted like it was shown to be on other posts. That black block looks like an insulator. I’m guessing to keep wiring a distance from the engine.
if you order, sign up for an account to get points for your order and it will allow you to check status. i did not and the only way to get order status is to call. 1-877-466-4744. i posted the phone number for those of us old guys cant read 1-877-GOMISHI on our phones.
I’m thinking modified to him is cut up and welded on. I’m sure any bolt on lifts and modifications would be okay. I would crawl under to see what was done. Right or wrong. He may not be up to or down for that.
to be honest, ZROADZ installed them. i let them use my bronco so they could size it up to build. they had it for close to 3 weeks and they gave them to me for free. i had called them up for a picture before i ordered and thats how this came about. i looked underneath and it looks easy to unbolt...
So my side steps have a 1/2 gusset and you won’t leave this alone. Please send me a picture of your sliders that don’t have issues. I’ll show you a picture of frame mounted sliders. Why don’t you get your red circle and show all the design flaws.
Thanks.
Had these installed. These are solid and look great. Local company down the street from me. Zroadz. I was looking for a nice step that hid the pinch weld that didn’t require modifications to my Bronco. Very heavy duty and solid install using existing mounting points.
This has happen before, bouncing clutch. They replaced and it didn’t fix. Ended up replacing motor apparently.
