OK - so too many years of being faux tough with the bang sticks as a youngster has left me with not-the-best hearing as an older/wiser man.
In winter, I find the volume of the B&O system acceptable. But during topless/doorless season I often find it lacking at max volume. Depends on...
Possible. But the jury is still out on that.
Recall that they are saying they can't get my vehicle to even enter calibration mode. Not that they can't calibrate it due to the relocated sensor. So I suspect there is still an unsolved problem lurking in the system somewhere. For...
Well - I think we might be on to something. I put a couple of washers behind the upper mounting screws of my sensor and test drove it today. Not perfect - still occasionally kicks off. But MUCH better than it was. Which indicates I'm on the right track. I'll keep fiddling with it...
Also, now I'm wondering if it is even the radar unit behind the grille. It also could be that the camera up in front of the rearview is just too damn high off the ground now. And that is something I have no control over.
Makes sense. I used the bracket that moves the sensor up high behind the grill. I might just go out there and futz with it myself. I've got Forscan - can I do the calibration with just that? Or I do I need specialty software?
EDIT: You may have just given me a Eureka moment with this...
I don't get the impression that they are actually searching for a way to fix it. I think they are searching for a excuse NOT to fix it. They do not seem very motivated.
Eventually, I'm thinking this is gonna land back on me to figure out myself. I'll look over that video and see if...
NOTE: There is only one Ford dealership in my town.
So for the past year I've been getting intermittent errors about the adaptive cruise control needing service. It usually says "sensor is blocked" The frequency started out like once a week but now, will happen pretty much every time I...
This is fake all around. It's just a Sport with some Raptor badges and an aftermarket exhaust. I've got those same flares on my wife's Badlands Sport.
The giveaway: The grill does not say "FORD" (like every other Raptor flavor).
Regardless of your color bias - the question is valid and remains unanswered: can you run them in either "half mode" or full on tacky mode by using those (what appear to be) screws across the middle?
On the street, the man demands tacky. On the trail - I can be me and free. So flaps that...
Would have helped if he was in 4WD
Right before pitching left. See the dust off the rear tires and none from front?
he lost traction traction in the rear and it spun him sideways.
And, As they say….it was all downhill from there…
Yeah, cause I'm really getting bored with not seeing "NOT FOR 202x BRONCO" on that part I really want. (and, of course, I always seem to have the 202x....)
Funny - literally just got done Ordering a roll of EVA before closing the Amazon window and coming here to check Messages. It’s for a spare tire platform I’m building. But I think I’m gonna dimple die my project to get a little more rigidity out of the sheet metal.
Love what you got going so far
Just spent 10 minutes arguing with my dealer after he told me my ACC was not working because I relocated the trail cam.
“ adaptive cruise control requires the front camera to be perfectly calibrated”
Had to school him on the difference between the trail cam and the adaptive cruise control...
🤷. I’ll ask when I pick it up
so far, not too impressed with the service department here. I spent 10 minutes arguing with the guy when he told me the reason my adaptive cruise control wasn’t working (separate issue) is because I relocated the front camera.
I had to explain to him that the ACC...
I cannot say for certain they replaced it. They claimed to have to wait 2 weeks to order the part from Ford which implies it was replaced. But maybe they just sprayed some graphite or some such in there and called it "fixed"
I can say that when I got it back from them 3 mos ago, the latch...
So my Bronco's at the dealer right now for a faulty drivers seat belt latch.
The thing is difficult to get latched - have to try like 3 or 4 times before it will catch - and even after playing with it and getting it to latch (tugging on it proves it is indeed latched) - while driving it just...
