Got 2 of the 3 open recalls done. Still don’t have parts for the third. And had the dealership finally fix my passenger side BLISS and cross traffic failure. “Only” a $250 for the wire repair and I decided it was worth it as I still have a ton of snow on the ground and don’t feel like fixing it...
Not the “best” but one of my favorites…
mainly because I got there in this. lol I wish I had the photos/vids of the guy that was with me. It had a lot of challenges and stupids… but what else do you do on TDY?
I was able to tuck baby car in the back of my 2 car garage so I could pull my eldest son’s Edge into the garage too for the blizzard this past sun and mon. The truck wouldn’t fit inside anyways even just sitting on 37’s. lol
Waiting on recall parts to come in so it can get the three open recalls completed... and see how much they will charge me to fix the BLISS and Cross-Traffic faults (still probably will have to do it myself once the near three feet of fresh snow is gone).
Now that it is not below zero every day I may finally replace the wire harness. However I lay wait to here what the dealer would charge since I am waiting for them to get parts for the 2-3 open recalls for the car.

Anyone have a place to buy the wire harness for the rear BLIS sensor? The one that has been shown in mine and the OP's pics? I found this one, but was wondering if there is a "better" or more creditable source? I will be replacing it myself as I won't pay $1200 for the repair and I am out of...
So when spring hits in 6 months I will need to: 1) pull the rear bumper cover and possibly wheel liner off 2) unplug and cut the old harness 3) solder the new wires like with like 4) weather “proof” and armor the repaired harness 5) place back in holder and strengthen how it is attached 6) put...
I’ve got some knockoff stock looking side steps on my Bronco. They have been on for 4+ years. As they rust out I will leave them on until then. At any rate will these fit over the pinch welds with “stock” side steps?
The wire to the sensor is worn through. Looks like it came out of the holder and rubber through on the bumper. Third issue with the system as I am in my 5 th winter. This time no warranty to get it fixed.
