I would like to see some type of confirmation on an increase or not on the GVWR for certain trims in 2022. I think they have to be increasing the GVWR because I can not see how any change in the roof rack design would allow for one to be added in 2022 without a GVWR change.
Can somebody elaborate on why a 2021 4dr Sasquatch cannot have a roof rack, but a 2022 will be able to? Is Ford increasing the GVWR on the 4dr Sasquatch next year to accommodate the roof rack? I can not think of any other reason as to why it would not be available for 2021.
I want the Lux Package for B&O stereo, additional outlets on the dash, and heated steering wheel. I do not want adaptive cruise control and active lane assist that comes with it.
I was looking at putting Toyo AT/III's in 35X11.50R17 on these wheels (just a hair wider than 285s). Looks like I would be fine width wise clearing the arms. Probably will need a 1" or 2" lift to fully clear for diameter.
Correct, you have to remove the beauty ring pop the tire off of the bead and replace the beauty ring with a bead lock ring. I do not see any reason why any tire shop would not touch a DOT rated bead lock wheel and tire. Non-DOT rated sure.
If it takes $800 to make them true beadlock then they are not worth it. I had not seen that the bead lock rings would be that much. If this is the case then I believe I will go without the Squatch Package on my Badlands.
It would be nice if one of the Ford trolls on here cou
Have you priced Beadlock wheels and 35" MT tires versus 33" AT tires? $2500 difference isn't far off.
I don’t think all of this is accurate. The Overland Concept has been repeatably confirmed to be a Sasquatch prototype suspension and the Filson Concept is aLeo Sasquatch prototype suspension , but is closer to production Sasquatch Production than the Overland. The Sasquatch suspension is...
Bingo. The facility delay has reduced the amount of roofs that can be produced prior to the start of Bronco delivery. The painted roofs take longer to produce than the MIC roofs so they were delayed in order to produce more MIC roofs in this shortened window.
Same axle just different gears in the front and rear differential to make up for the larger diameter 35" tires. Gives the 35" tires the almost exactly the same final gear ratio as the 33" tires with the standard gears.
If you plan on putting 35" tires on in the future I would go ahead and get the 4.7 gears as it is a free option. I inititally was just going to get a Squatch Package for the 4.7 gears on a Badlands and now that I can get the gears without the Squatch Package I think I am going to go that route...
I think it is purely a supply issue from the roof manufacturer. Manufacturer told Ford we can make 100 MIC roofs or we can make you 30 MIC roofs and 20 black roofs for a total of 50 roofs or something like that. Ford decided to just offer the MIC roofs initially to get orders filled faster.
Please elaborate? I have not heard of anything being late availability on the Sasquatch Package. Wild track and First Edition come standard with Sasquatch and they only appear delayed if you want to wait for a Black hardtop.
