Oh, I'm not saying everything will be perfect, just that you may not have a catastrophic failure if you get out of the gas and shut off the engine quickly. Also, I'm not a mechanic or mechanical engineer, so I can't quantify the results of sudden oil starvation on bearings, rods, and turbos...
Oh, I know, but it's a concern. If you're putting 6 PSI through the turbos and suddenly lose oil pressure, pull off, and shut the thing down, you're probably going to be ok. If you continue to drive it for any length of time, you're probably going to end up burning up the rod bearings and...
It's good to hear that the F-150 has a good track record with it, I just don't see the wisdom in putting a rubber belt inside an engine that needs the entire front of the engine removed while using chains for the rest of the timing system. If it was all belts, fine, but why mix them? What's the...
I watched the teardown video this morning. It's my Sunday morning tradition, with a cup of coffee.
I was wondering if the 2.7L in the Bronco has this stupid design.

Some a-hole "named" James Franklin took this listing off a Facebook Bronco parts sale group and listed it, word for word. This top is in my possession. It's hanging in my garage. Do not send money to James Franklin.

You can either do an aftermarket 4-pin connector, or you can search the forum and find the thread where someone added the factory tow package after purchase and get the full connector.

I'm in Charleston, and there's a pretty active Bronco Facebook group. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of trails in the Low Country, but check out the Scout Carolina Adventure Route.

+1 for Redline. I have them on both my Mustang and Bronco. The CJ Pony Parts installation video is super helpful, because the instructions seemed kinda lacking.

I think it's the location and size of it that I don't like. The one I have just has a small tab with the logo. It's all of 1"x0.5" and is pretty unnoticeable. This logo just looks too big and out of place.

Isn't this the damn truth. SC feels like a bowl full of Planter's finest.
OP, sorry to hear about these troubles! It's pretty ridiculous that they can't source a castle nut for a tie rod end that doesn't take a week to get there.
It's funny that there's another thread going on right now about...
When I installed my Bestop Trektop, I used the included vinyl adhesive stickers placed under the rear cargo area brackets to protect the fenders from damage. Unfortunately, I suck at putting stickers on complex shapes, so they look crappy.
I'd like to have a local place I've worked with before...
I have whatever the previous version was, with the mesh pockets and a small Bestop tag on the passenger side, and I really prefer the small tag, but I will say that the tag is fading in the South Carolina sun. I do NOT like the large Bestop logo, and it's kinda dumb that they make you advertise...
I trend a certain kind of way, until I don't, but Night Moves and Wicked Game are often played in the truck, too! If I'm not listening to YouTube Music, I'm usually flipping between Lithium, Turbo, Fly, Rock The Bells Radio, 90s on 9, Classic Vinyl, Faction Punk, etc...

If I'm out in the mud and have heavy dirt, I use my foam cannon on the pressure washer with Chemical Guys Mr. Pink soap, using the two bucket method, and a microfiber mitt. If it's just general road grime and dust, I use Optimum No Rinse, again with a microfiber mitt. After I'm done, I dry the...
