I live in MA and this is exactly what I did. Financed through the dealer but before I even made my first payment (Which is usually in about a month after purchase) I refinanced through DCU at a much lower rate.
Thanks. Just make sure you get either the +18mm offset or the 0mm offset. Those are the only two that have a hub bore size larger (108mm) than stock (93.1mm?). The +30mm bore size is too small (76mm-ish)
I got the wheels from BBWheels online. They were the cheapest I could find at the time. I randomly looked the other night and the American Racing wheels website has them dirt cheap right now.
I actually noticed some closed soft top noises (rattles/clicking) went away after installing the struts. I also adjusted a bunch of the latching brackets so I’m sure that helped as well but that was a few days later.
I installed least week and had the top down for the first time last Friday. I have not seen any issues with rubbing or damage. I hadn’t even put it back into position one since I got it because I wanted to make sure the crap weather was at least 90% done. Maybe I got lucky but what I did...
I’ll be up there May 23rd. I had a hard time signing up as well since they couldn’t verify my vehicle. I offered to send them a picture of it in my driveway and they magically found it in the system after that.
I’m going to installing mine today but I’ve already noticed a pinch in my windows even with the prop. I don’t think it’s an issue with the struts but rather slight manufacturing differences in the window stitching. It also might have something to do with temperature since I notice mine kink up...

A few of the other original trim levels of the Bronco were the Ranger and Explorer. Both worked out pretty well as individual models for Ford.
I guess they figured they'd try again.
That still doesn't make it right.
