So doing more research I’ve found this article and this video explaining “torque management”
Apparently GM has the cpu set with limited torque for the first 500 miles. Not sure if this is only for the Vette but it could be a thing for the Bronco too with its fancy transmission and goat modes...
Well now from the person who just posted about their new Bronco says this...
“As far as 0-60 mph, drive mode characteristics, or other drivability questions, I am going to wait until the break in period is over. (1000 miles). I’m almost certain the Bronco is detuned from the factory until the...
Great write up and congrats.
Can you tell us more about the engine break in?
Seems a few threads back someone did a 0 to 60 and got a bad time and I’m wondering if this is the reason.
I bought a new motorcycle once and was told to keep the revs down for the first 500 miles. I seriously don’t know protocol for new vehicles but it seems like it’s a thing.
I love the view of the hood from the drivers view. Instantly know you’re in a Bronco. It’s very unique and I’m liking those trail sights more and more. Also, the hood seems long sometimes but this view it doesn’t seem too long which is great to see.
That was actually a pretty good video showing all the removable aspects.
These videos are a little redundant at times but I appreciate all the content they are giving us.
Can Bronco week be the new Shark week?
Ford must have really put some money and effort into getting the Bronco featured in this game. Having the Bronco R and the king of hammers Broncos in this much more then I expected. Love it
I think my Bronco is going to be a sleeper Badlands. Im taking off the badges then getting a Black Diamond grill and maybe even getting the basic headlights. 🤷‍♂️
I’m loving everything about these renders but I can’t help but think it would look even better with the Base/Black Dimond grill in white. The other looks too futuristic
I’m not a fan of stickers on my new truck but the Bronco being built here in America and back in Michigan is a huge deal and something owners should be proud of and brag about.
I’ve complained about the Bronco being on the expensive side but having it built here and the money going to our...
