Thanks for the sarcasm. But I already watched that one a few times. It didn't work. The wiper blade didn't budge. I pulled hard enough that the entire arm was moving and I was concerned the spring would stretch or break off it's clips.
OK I know I'm going to feel stupid when somebody answers this, but how on Earth do you remove the rear wiper blade?
Mine is completely shot and has strands of rubber dangling. But I can't figure out how to remove it. I've tried pulling, pushing, twisting, sliding, looking for release tabs, and...
The doors and tailgate lock while driving, which is fine. Then when the vehicle is parked, they unlock, also good. But if the doors are removed, the tailgate doesn’t automatically unlock when parked. So then when you go out later to put something in the back, it involves futilely pulling the...
Had one of these for about 20 years, and almost walking distance from my home. Basically the same sort of relationship you had. Did the work, no issues, and never got overcharged. But suddenly about 5 years ago, his shop and all the equipment were listed for auction by the state dept of...
I've requested a 5 tire rotation every time, and the service advisor always said no problem. But the techs actually did it only one time out of three. The others were just 4 tire rotations. Didn't seem worth arguing about it after the fact.
I had the same exact issue but on the driver's side. The camera blacked out any time the outside temperature was below freezing. I had it replaced a few weeks ago under the regular warranty, not as part of a recall.
Thanks, and good luck with yours.
I did some quick research and 22293 is definitely not the most recent version. But at least now it's only 2 years out of date instead of 4. And maybe the OTA updates will finally work??? Fingers crossed.
Successful update!
I'm now on version 22293, revision 610
No idea if that's fully up to date or not, but it's certainly better than it was.
Here's what they put on the invoice, in case it helps:
"Verified the customer's concern. The technician found 25-2055 applies to the customer's concern...
Same vehicle (except mine is a 2dr), same software version and revision number. To the best of my knowledge it has never updated since I purchased it new in April 2022. And I'm in the USA. The dealer has repeatedly told me it's up to date and there's nothing they can do.
However, I dropped it...
When I place my order I got the salesman to use a full sheet of blank copy paper and a sharpie to write a giant full page sign saying do not mount front plate. This was stapled to the first page of the paperwork so there was no way it could possibly be missed.
I think mine is relatively rare. At least I’ve never seen another like it. Two door in AMB. Not that any of them are actually rare, but I think it’s made me a more cautious driver knowing if it gets totaled I can’t get the same thing to replace it.
Same problem here but in the opposite direction. I was reading consistently about 20 degrees hotter than reality. I disconnected the sensor and cleaned some gunk off. Now it’s showing about 10 degrees too high. I’m probably going to order the part this weekend. I’d rather spend the 5-10 dollars...
I get this happening occasionally on the driver’s side, especially in cold weather. Just a big blank area. The dealer was unable to find anything wrong. My guess is it’s a slightly loose connection somewhere. It usually goes back to normal the next time I start the vehicle.
Haven't really stuffed it beyond 2 full hockey bags and sticks.
But I can confirm that 8 foot lumber will fit (barely) between the windshield and tailgate.
Best color by far. I'm keeping my AMB '21 forever, or at least until AMB is available again. And if you think it looks black, either your vision is horrible or you've never actually seen it in person.
