The sound appears to be coming from audio, speakers. I recorded that by leaving the phone in the Bronco before I exited and closed the door.

It’s not the window. It sounds like 4 sets of “trots”. And no I’m not imagining it. I was trying to post the iPhone MOV but it doesn’t seem to play after I post it. I’ll try uploading again.

After exiting and closing doors, my Bronco makes a “galloping” or thumping sound. Sometimes multiple times. Is this normal? I didn’t notice it prior to installing an amp and new speakers so many it was there but much more faint.

Amp is JL-Audio VX700/5i. There are no low level outputs in the Bronco so I connected the audio output from the Bronco to the amp using speaker wire to RCA adapter.

How do you go about looking that information up? Are you a service tech?

Used line-level inputs, not a converter.

Update: Ford dealer service says the ACM has trouble codes indicating there was some sort of issue with 2 of the channels that was likely caused by my install and replacing ACM will not be covered by warranty. I was super careful with the install and double checked all my pos and neg connections...

Yeah disconnected it several times as part of my troubleshooting and didn't correct it.

Yes I have one of those but I don't like the popping sounds when turning off car and speakers turn off and amp does not. Everything is connected as properly but they will pop.
