  1. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

This is good news for us, if it's only a few days of production being held, that likely means a far shorter hold than if there is multiple weeks worth that need fixed/inspected.
  2. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Here's an example, released 2 days after produced. Sometimes it's same day. Delivered Final Delivered (Jack Cooper Transport ) Union, IA Apr-12-2022, 11:35 CT N/A N/A In Transit Shipped Convoy - Convoy # 1542374371 (Jack Cooper Transport ) Ramp 2P, Cottage Grove, MN Apr-12-2022, 06:20 CT...
  3. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

I am a dealer, this is my personal vehicle. Admittedly, I'm worried less about it than most since I had 2 first day reservations, and used one to get a 4 door Softtop last October, and waited to get the 2 door I really wanted until hardtops were available and we got all our early reservations...
  4. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Still no change as of today. It's safe to say they're all on hold, now we just wait to find out if its a short inspection hold or a chip shortage (mud mountain for spring?) long term hold. This is Ford's biggest screw up, they've always done things like this and give no information, not even...
  5. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Yes, my outlook is headed negative right now. I show produced on 4/9, but nothing since, normally, it goes to released within a couple of days at worst, and seeing all the others in the same boat tells me its not just a paint issue or something on mine alone. Still possible they're waiting...
  6. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

From the dealer system, "produced" means off the line, However, it could be on hold or have other issues that it isn't complete. "Released" is done, thats when the built email can go out.
  7. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Yes, even with an ETA, even the Explorers and F-150s I have marked "Micro chip at Plant on Hold" have ETAs so that doesn't mean anything.
  8. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

Don't get too excited yet, that's where mine is too, this is the nerve racking part. This is the status they stay in when they get put on hold and parked, usually after a couple days it switches to "released" then, while not home free, I'll feel much better that its not on chip or other hold.
  9. Swapping Goodyear Tires on the Sasquatch Package

I've got 5,xxx miles on my Goodyears now and they aren't as bad, a little wear and now they're about like KO2s for rock throwing which isn't terrible. I'd still rather have KO2's but I can live with the Goodyears, I was very happy with them in the snow.
  10. 🛠 4/4/22 build week group [now with Google doc]

  11. 🛠 3/28/22 Build Week Group

    Got bumped to 4/7 build.
  12. Ford pushes dealer stock allocation to May

Yes, everyone's seeing this as a positive, but in reality we don't know, I suspect it will be a negative. We had 0 Stock F-150's allocated nationwide this month (and last month), but that also meant we had 0 Retail allocations nationwide the last 2 months, and I'm afraid that's what this really...
  13. 🛠 3/28/22 Build Week Group

Just checked, mine was 4/1 now its moved to a 3/29 build date, so some are moving ahead. Now I just hope they have the parts to fully build it, dealers just signed up to accept and store partial vehicles due to parts shortages this week, but Ford didn't say which ones or when. Yesterday they...
  14. 🛠 3/28/22 Build Week Group

In the Ford dealer system, mine went from a 3/28 build week to a 4/1 build day, so we're getting close.
  15. Delivery - Is this normal?

Yes, normal, trucking is a nightmare right now, Our ramp has been bad for a while and many of the drivers I see regularly are retiring, so I see it getting worse. Might get one shipped in 3 days, next one might sit there a month. For those who don't think its gloomy enough, my son is working...
  16. Ford CEO Jim Farley on Bronco production & price protection [as of 2/14/22]

Look into Mach E an F150 Lighting, this is how I see Ford getting to MSRP. On the EVs, MSRP and invoice are the same, no markup, no holdback. Dealers are paid commissions for various things, including ad covenant. Right now it's just EVs, but writing is on the wall, and I think most people...
  17. Ford CEO Jim Farley on Bronco production & price protection [as of 2/14/22]

Had some that had 2 reservations, originally were going to cancel one, then decided to get what they could in 21/22 and trade it for what they really want in 23.
  18. Ford CEO Jim Farley on Bronco production & price protection [as of 2/14/22]

I've got about 25% of my original reservations waiting for the mod top, nothing's been said about if they'll be available at job 1. I'd hope so with this much time to get them ready, and if so it should take a lot of pressure of the MIC top so hopefully the top constraints won't be so bad.
  19. Ford CEO Jim Farley on Bronco production & price protection [as of 2/14/22]

In one of the meetings where they announced the 22 price protection, they said 23 price protection will be announced later, but will likely be a similar program. When the moved the mod tops to 23, it forced their hand to continue price protection. I suspect after 23 MY there won't be anymore...
