I got an email from the Service Rep at my stealership abou the transmission I was getting. I told him .........."I understood that the "A" transmission, was not the revised version. Why am I getting the "A"" version?" He says......"We submitted with the old part number and Ford is sending us...

I think the transmission was ordered around March 3, 2023.

So good news. My new transmission is in. Bad news the part number is MB3Z-7003-A. I’m scheduled for May 15. When I ask Service about the A vs the E version I get “Oh I don’t know anything about that. We just do what Ford tells us to do.” It’s hard to get excited anymore at this point.

My stealership just called to tell me the transmission I need, which was supposed to come in "around" the end of March, has been delayed 2 months. And that per their Parts Dept, Ford made this change on March 28. Now I'm looking at the end of May........:mad:👎

sounds good to me ! when I nudge it to 5th I still have noise. But when I nudge it to 6th, noise goes away.

Do you think there will be any form of compensation coming back our way from Ford because of this super inconvenience?
