  1. Cheap vs. Expensive Lights

@Mojave Norte - What lights do you have on the DV8 caps on the crash bar stubs? Any chance you could post up a pic of the interface between the light and the cap?
  2. What's going on here? Strange Sightings

Maybe carry some traction boards on his fancy Trailrax rack... and use some throttle finesse in the sand.
  3. Cheap vs. Expensive Lights

I've put @Baja Designs on both rigs- integrated into front and rear bumper on the ZR2. Front bumper only on the Wildtrack. 3 LP6s in the middle, 2 Squadron Pros on the outside. Well engineered, rock solid kit. And ~40k lumens of light. The Squadrons are great for deer detection/avoidance in...
  4. Headed to the mall!

There is still snow up on the Monarch Crest Trail outside Salida. Great hike or mnt bike ride.
  5. Method lug nuts?

Same as the silver ones I took off my Wildtrack, just black.
  6. Method lug nuts?

@Silver-Bolt I got the Method set to go with a set of the Ford Performance Methods- not my fave. They have a smaller mating surface that the wheels, so less engagement (and a bright ring around the lugs). I bit the bullet and bought the Ford set in black. If you want the ones from Method...
  7. Thoughts/Recommendations for onboard air compressor?

Not exactly a compressor, but I went with a Power Tank in the cargo area. Super fast inflation, and I can move it to the ZR2 when required.
  8. Dont put your hard top front panels in the back seat

I am pretty sure that area is vinyl. A good auto uphoulstry shop could fix the damage for a lot less than 800 skins. If you look hard, you would possibly be able to see the repair, but most won’t. Look for a shop that specializes in vintage cars. Might even get them to come to you.
  9. Rear ended on Sunday :( $20K repair estimate! [Update: TOTALED]

Ugh. I got mine out of Detroit from Pat Miliken Ford at no ADM and no stupid add ons when everyone was charging 10-20k + 5k in paint protection. They are 5 miles or so from MAP, good dealer. Cost me about $1500 to get it here to Santa Fe- advertised prices are below MSRP, guessing they would...
  10. Rear ended on Sunday :( $20K repair estimate! [Update: TOTALED]

I feel you. It's a whole state of terrible drivers. In Santa Fe, at least 20% of the people on the road shouldn't have a license due to age and lack of response time. I literally almost killed an older woman about an hour ago- I was headed home on a side street, and she ran a stop sign...
  11. One amp to power it all?

I did as well, but I did add a separate Musway 2 channel for the sub- signal comes from the 2 unpowered DSP channels.
  12. New Mexico 24 Piece West Coast Wheel Black Splined Lug Nuts

24 piece set of West Coast Wheel black splined lug nuts that I bought direct from Method. On my Bronco one time for about 2 hours; I did not like the fact they don't cover the entire cone on the wheel, leaving a bright ring visible. Yes, I could have used black Sharpie to cover, but OCD...
  13. New Mexico Sold: Mountains2Metal underdash amp/radio mount

Mountains2Metal underdash amp/radio mount, never used, with all bolts, etc. Fits Kicker Key 200.1 amp, as well as several Midland radios. I thought I could make it work with my Weboost cell booster, but no luck. $25, including shipping, anywhere C=USA. PM or call/text at five one...
  14. Black lut nuts installed - so much better!

Now if I could find something similar for the Method 703s.
  15. HAM Radio Antenna

I'll echo this endorsement. And available either LH or RH config.
  16. BFGoodrich KO3 All Terrain Tire Launches as Successor to KO2

Same here- I've got the AT3s on the Bronco and my ZR2. Great tires.
  17. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

Never has been for me, and track days in Texas get pretty damn hot.
  18. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

Super easy. It's designed for temporary protection on track days, but is sticky enough that it stays on as long as you like. I've never had it leave any residue.
  19. (fun list!) Bronco accessories to be avoided! (keep it friendly)

This. And the most cost-effective solution is Racer's Tape. $12 for enough to do all 4 sills about 8 times...
