My tracker just updated today and it now indicates that I have no scheduled build week. Each time this happens, I get an email soon afterwards and find out I've been bumped again. Originally I was scheduled for 3/27. Last date was the week of 5/22. I guess I'll be bumped into June with the rest...
The mod top is available on the Heritage Editions....only problem is that Ford is now having problems with those and all Heritage builds are on hold. Typical Ford.
The thing is....you could literally get a build date tomorrow....or you may not get your Bronco until 2026. I've been waiting a year and a half and I'm one of the newbies. Then, if your dealer doesn't try to screw you out of price protection or play the ole switcheroo and decide to charge you an...
I hope you're right. June will be a year and a half wait for me so far. I won't have it in June as I've been bumped to 5/26, according to the tracker. I'm pretty close to ordering the refreshed 2024 Wrangler.
Obviously, Ford is going with the lowest bidder and cutting corners wherever it can. You get what you pay for. Maybe they are getting the tops painted at Maaco. 🤔
Who has an update on the top issue? There was someone who claimed their brother worked at the factory and that Heritage production was put on a pause because the tops were bad. Paint bleed issue I believe. I've read so many forums between the two Bronco boards that it's all a blur and I can't...
Looks like it's most likely another top issue. I just keep getting bumped out so I'm never closer than 6 weeks out from a scheduled build week. What a mess.
That article is over two years old. You're muddying the waters. I don't want a Tesla either. Doesn't change the fact that Tesla makes money while Ford is bleeding cash and the buying experience is better with Tesla.
I think you're missing the point the OP was trying to make. He's not comparing a model Y to a Bronco. He's comparing the buying experience and the efficiency in which Tesla can deliver a product compared to the absolute horror show involved with ordering a vehicle through Ford.
There's a reason that Tesla is raking in huge profits and Ford LOST $2 billion last year. Ford has some great products but is one of the worst, most inefficiently run companies in the industry. Dealerships, as a whole, are an outdated concept. In decades past, people went to dealerships to learn...
I would cancel as well. Each day that goes by, I have less interest in buying a Ford as it is. It'll be close to a two year wait if they build my Heritage this fall. But Ford won't lose money. Someone will buy our orders for a new inflated price. This new generation has no problem with 8 year...
Unless we wait so long that we get pushed to a 2024. In that case, all price protections and private offers get scrapped and you will pay the prevailing 2024 MSRP. Gee...Ford would hate that. Your price would go up at least $5000. I wouldn't be surprised if Ford's plan was to bump as many older...
I hear ya. I have a 4Runner that is my everyday vehicle. The Bronco will be my summer fun vehicle. But....with all the push backs, I may miss yet another summer.
