My tracker still says 6/20 production date. I can't get through the back door as I don't have a reservation number. But the tracker hasn't been updated since 5/12. Should I believe my heritage will go into production in three weeks?
Me neither. The Bronco was supposed to be my top and doors off summer vehicle. I don't need it but I've now lost my second summer. Life is short. I'm going to place an order for a 2024 2 door Wrangler Willys. I can order it for 4% below invoice with my affiliate discount. If the Bronco comes in...
It does not. My brother has ordered and purchased two Mavericks. He said that there were a bunch of 2022 order holders with VINs that just never got built and got pushed to 2023.
Right. So, once we hit mid October for build slots, those orders get pushed to 2024 and all price protections and private offers evaporate. Then Ford can sell those slots for thousands more.
Exactly. I certainly won't go beyond 2023. Ford will lose a customer for life and I'm sure my poor recommendation will lose them additional customers of friends and family that may have considered a Ford. It's not just the fact that Ford can't figure out how to build the vehicle, but that I've...
Looks like we are all only a couple of months away from having our 2023 orders cancelled. Ford will make a lot of money as all price protections and private offers will be wiped out. No problem though....you can re order a 2024 for thousands more than what you would have paid for your 2023, and...
Why would Ford schedule builds for a week when the plant will be shut down? It's already been established that the plant is closing down for Fourth of July week.
Ford will most likely push you to 2024, thereby negating all of your price protection. That's the plan. Ford already announced no price protections of your aren't built in 2023.
I've been bumped more times than I can recall. But...last date was "week of" 6/26. Now says "week of" 6/23. First time I've been bumped closer. Only a few days but interesting.
Last updated on May 2nd. It had shown 6/26 but that is now gone. I don't think I can get in through the back door as I don't have a reservation number. I was a walk in order in Dec of 2021. Wondering if I'll make it to the two year mark without getting my Bronco.
Keep in mind there were a lot of Mavericks with VINs that got cancelled, so, with Ford, having a VIN is no guarantee. If Ford can bump all the Heritage Editions to 2024, there won't be any price protection and they can avoid honoring 2023 model year price protection and private offer...
Yup. I started out at 3/27 as well. Most recently got bumped to 6/16. Got an email today and now I'm week of 6/26. This is some type of cruel joke by Ford. This will be the second summer wasted waiting for Ford. And I'm not getting any younger.
How the entire management team at Ford hasn't been replaced is beyond me. It's not only their ineptness at securing quality suppliers and building a reliable supply chain but, when they do finally build a Bronco, there are numerous quality control problems. Then, they can't even deliver the...
OMG! Now they're being pushed to July build weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if Ford can't build the Heritage Editions this year and all of our orders get cancelled. Ford already said that there will be no price protection if your order doesn't get built this year.
