Holy crap. The whole hardtop is only $3200????? They wanted $1200 for just the plastic interior trim quarter panel piece. If the whole top is $3200 that’s a steal!!

Going to try a few things but also don’t want to throw off the balance. Might put a 2x4 across the cart so it’s touching multiple places. Lange says the cart works with the hard top resting on those plates….im just nervous. I also watched a YouTube video where it looks like maybe it was okay...

I bought those Dollie’s but the issue is the orientation it would need to sit on the Dollie’s. Not sure it’s possible. Need to be on its side and that would shatter the window

Painters tap won’t stick to the MIC shell. Already tried. Need something with more adhesive to stick the cardboard to the shell I need to move top through a doorway tilted on its side and it will be low to the ground. Don’t want to risk something hitting glass and breaking…

Tomorrow is the big day, trying to move the hardtop out of the room and into the garage. For safety reasons, I would like to tape some cardboard over the side windows and duct tape to the frame during the move to prevent accidental glass breakage. masking tape won’t hold/stick to the MIC top...

This only needs to work once to get it out of two door ways (don’t ask). Then it will be stored in a garage with hoist. Thoughts on if those two plates can support the weight to move 200 feet to my garage?

This is exactly my concern and this will NEVER be done more than once. That being said I’m going to not remove the plate and instead try to use this cart I bought to hopefully maneuver through the doorway. But it’s going to be resting heavily then on soley these two plates with slight balance...
