Have to ask…do you live in a humid environment or a dry climate? Is there anything you aren’t telling us like your car got rained on with the top off? Feel like there’s some important information being left out… Or are you saying your car never got wet inside and it still smells?

Was the kit warped BEFORE the install or did it warp during the install as you tightened the bolts down? I’ve read on this thread that some people either used washers to help with this or installed the pod BEHIND the tow hook cover…

How do you access the front speakers?

If I don’t want to replace the pods for 6.5 inch can I just swap in better 4inch speakers without any mods? Will it sound better?

I ordered those too at first. They look nice IMO and don’t have the issue I describe in this thread but I returned them for one reason only…they aren’t textured and I was worried people would slip

I liked the carbon sticker style but the carbon fiber wasn’t my personal taste but I like how it was done. Unfortunately intuitively people want to step on the door still with the high SAS package.
