Not sure about the fasteners. It does seem to only connect at the rear, by pinching the hard top like most roof racks, and at the windshield “accessory ready” points, without any other contact with the roof (like some of the other racks I’ve seen that have multiple perches to hold up the middle...

Not sure except for aftermarket, and mine already has digital gauges, but they really are a bad design. I have not seen the analog gauges everyone is mentioning.
