In typical Japanese (and Korean) style, wait for the Americans to revolutionize something, watch as they struggle through initial issues, wait until the issues are fixed, and then copy the best parts of the implementation, claiming better quality.
I have to agree with others -- when I saw "battery junction box failed" and then looked at the 10 (or more) after-market lights + winch on the front, I'm more inclined to blame the dealer/seller than Ford.
Hello! Just passed four weeks in my wait for these amazing side steps. Are we still seeing 10-week lead times for delivery, or have these times changed at all? Thanks!
No rhyme nor reason to it -- I ordered my 23 at the end of October 2022 (loaded-out Badlands like yours, plus the MIC hard top and optional wheels, but minus SAS) and had it in my garage in five months. Not 100% sure how the ordering queue works, but it definitely can be weird.

To be more precise, you meant 1974, which was the last year that you could get those beautiful full chrome bumpers on an MG Midget before they started adding "modern" plastic/rubber for "safety".
IMO, blacked-out badge parts look stupid and should be relegated back to the 2000s as well...
Would 0.9% and 1.9% rates really gift a dealership "kick backs"? Again, this was before Biden, but remembering the economy and negotiating power I had at these times, I still don't see the problem with what I (and many others, honestly) did.
