  1. Best MPG you have reached

The best MPG I have ever achieved is 17.9 while driving from Monterey to San Diego and using Cruise Control. Typically I get between 16.8 and 16.9 during local driving. Are members who are getting 20 MPG plus driving down-hill with tail-wind? :)
  2. where can i find rubber floor mats? are the Ford ones any good?

My Bronco came with the rubber ones from Ford. I like them they have held up. I have the WeatherTech Cargo Mat in the back. I find that it tends to move around a bit, but it is made well. I have a WetherTech Cargo Mat in the back of my Jeep Commander. The one in the Jeep appears to be made of...
  3. So you got the Sasquatch package? A few words regarding your tires.

That is true the amount of stones kicking up is greatly reduced as the miles increase.
  4. So you got the Sasquatch package? A few words regarding your tires.

Thanks - On my TJ I had Toyo GeoLanders that were ok on and off-road and not too noisy. I replaced them with Falken Peaks because the old tires were shot and the price was not too bad. The Falken Peak tires were quieter than the Toyos. I sold my TJ ( oh the heart break) shortly after putting on...
  5. So you got the Sasquatch package? A few words regarding your tires.

I have almost 43k miles on the factory tires. I am planning to replace them over the summer. Not sure what I will go with at that time but more than likely will be an All Terrain.
  6. How many windshields (including replacements) have you gone through?

I have had three replacements. I just got a new stone chip two weeks ago. I decided to try the RainX repair kit. Sealed up the little star and has been holding so far. One thing I know for sure, I will never go back to SafeLite if I need a new windshield. They screw something up every time I...
  7. Part No. for Grille Marker Lights?

Thanks. I wonder if anyone watching this thread has used the grill lights from this company? Not bad for less than one Benjamin. https://broncoledshop.com/products/bronco-badlands-wildtrak-everglades-led-grille-lights
  8. Part No. for Grille Marker Lights?

Hi - Curious is this just the lights? Assume it does not include any wiring harness. Thanks
  9. Which Fog Lights are best?

Ditto for me. They replaced one light and that one developed condensation almost immediately. The frames have also rusted pretty badly as well. I plan on changing them out, but Diode Dynamics and Baja Designs are way out of my price range. KC HiLites are pricey as well!
  10. What the hell with these doors and windows / Constant window resetting?

My left rear window behaves this way. Reset lasts a few days and then it happens again. The right front widow does not drop quickly and it gets stuck in the weather stripping. If you pull the handle but don’t pull the door open it will drop. Trying to tell people to slightly pull the handle only...
  11. Official: Scout EV SUV & Pickup debut w/ Gas Range Extender, 4x4, BOF, Lockers, Sway Bar Disconnect -- All Specs, Wallpapers, Videos

Thanks for sharing this. When the new Scout becomes available I will have paid off my Bronco. I have made a reservation primarily to stay in the loop with the progress but also because I had a 1972 Scout 2 six-cylinder which I loved except for the fact that it had an exhaust manifold leak that...
  12. Did you own a Jeep before Bronco?

I love that TJ Rubi in Solar Yellow!
  13. Did you own a Jeep before Bronco?

I have owned several Jeeps over the years. I still have a 2006 Commander. I sold my 2004 TJ X to use as the down payment for my Bronco. I love my Bronco but miss my TJ. I loved working on the TJ. Also have owned a '48 CJ2A. It was a goat! I also previously owned a '78 Bronco Ranger XLT which I...
  14. UGH! MIC Top cracking

Man, you know how that goes "Happy wife = Happy Life". I check my regularly. So far so good, knock on wood
  15. Car stuck in 1st gear

Yes the same happened to me but only once and never again
  16. My Tool Storage Solution

I have the same HF toolkit that I keep in my Bronco. That is a great idea and I plan on stealing with pride! 🤓
  17. Did You Cut The Rear Cargo Floor Protector?

I have not done that with the Weathertech mat. I am thinking of doing it because the mat does shift around and I was thinking that this may help to keep it in place. Also, the rear most edge is curling up which has not happened on the Weathertech mat I have installed in my 2006 Jeep Commander...
  18. Window Nudge Down Feature on Unlock Removed in Latest SW Update

Hey Brian - thanks for the tip I will pick up some dry silicon and give it a shot.
  19. Window Nudge Down Feature on Unlock Removed in Latest SW Update

I hoped to get the feature where windows drop slightly upon unlocking with the key FOB. When opening the doors, my left rear and right front windows stick in the rubber weather stripping. I have tried the reset many times to no avail.
