  1. First look: recalled shocks replacement's new design on my 2021 Bronco Badlands

It's the old putting lipstick on the pig! I am scheduled to bring my Bronco into the dealer on Monday to address the recall.
  2. Falken Wildpeak A/T3W discontinued-what other options

Just had the Toyo Open Country AT 111s installed yesterday. So far, they are quieter than the OEM Goodyear tires. They are load range D as compared to the OEMs, which are load range C. A little harsher on bumps, but not intolerable. I had put just over 49K miles on the OEM tires. The Toyo tires...
  3. Falken Wildpeak A/T3W discontinued-what other options

Another deciding factor for me is where I buy my tires from. There is a small family-owned shop in Monterey that I like to use. They provide excellent service and fair pricing. I would rather give them the business than a large chain shop. They carry the Falkens and the Continentals, but not the...
  4. Falken Wildpeak A/T3W discontinued-what other options

I was basing my decision on reading the specs from each manufacturer and what I have read here in the forum regarding the Nittos.
  5. Falken Wildpeak A/T3W discontinued-what other options

I need new sneakers for my Bronco. The OEM units are fairly well worn out at just under 50k miles. I have been considering all options, but reducing road noise is one thing that I am targeting. I know that will not solve the noise in the Bronco, but it is a start. Consumer Reports rates the...
  6. Bears love the new Bronco!

Looking for those old nasty french fries the kids leave on the floor! :cwl:
  7. How much is your registration renewal....

Mine was close to that, around $620.
  8. Broken Dreams

I replaced my windshield twice. Recently got a stone chip, and I used the RainX repair kit. I worked perfectly. I also used it on a chip on my son's 2006 Jeep Commander.
  9. 75w85 rear differential gear oil what are you using

Why not run 75W-140 in the Front? That is what Dana recommends for the front and the rear.
  10. Is there a TSB for the windows?

My front passenger window always gets stuck in the weather stripping when opening the door unless you slowly pull the handle, which allows the window to drop enough to not get stuck in the weather stripping. The driver side rear door window will close over the top of the weather stripping, and...
  11. What did you drive before getting your Bronco?

2004 TJ X. While I love my Bronco, I miss my TJ for sure
  12. What the hell with these doors and windows / Constant window resetting?

My right front door window sticks in the weather stripping when opening it unless you hold the handle for a one count, allowing the window to lower a tad. Resetting the window does not do anything. My left rear window frequently closes over the gasket and has to be reset to resolve the issue...
  13. Does anyone make a wind deflector for the factory roof rack?

Curious to see if anyone who has purchased and installed this wind deflector has noticed a reduction in wind noise? I feel like Aunt Bethany in Christmas Vacation, with all of the wind and road noise when driving my Bronco I can't carry on a conversation. It is not quite as loud as my old soft...
  14. New Jersey Pinelands Off-Roading w/ 2024 Black Diamond

I used to live across the street from what was originally supposed to be a cemetery. There were the pillars for the gates, but that was about it. At night you would suddenly see bright lights and then hear gunshots. There were people out there jacking deer. They referred to it as Jersey Beef...
  15. New Jersey Pinelands Off-Roading w/ 2024 Black Diamond

I lived right near Six Flags. I moved to California in 1991 for work.
  16. New Jersey Pinelands Off-Roading w/ 2024 Black Diamond

I used to live in Jackson, NJ right on the edge of the Pine Barrens. Have many fond memories of mountain biking in the Pines! Camping in Bass River was amazing. This is such a great area. Thanks for sharing your pics.
  17. Cargo Mat - Husky or Weathertech?

Ditto for me. I have the WeatherTech and it always tends to slide toward the back. I also have a WearherTech in my Jeep Commander and it never moves. The mat in the Commander is made of a heavier grade of rubber as well. Can't say anything about the Husky matt.
  18. Not even a year old, but I have joined THE club.

I am sorry that you have joined the club. That looks like a nasty one. I have replaced my windshield twice and I got a stone chip a few weeks ago on windshield number three. I used the RainX repair kit, which seems to be holding up well. Whatever you do don't use Safelite. They hosed up both of...
  19. Best MPG you have reached

Sorry I should have mentioned I only use premium gas.
