Yeah, I'm sure all the armor on BD/BL will be available as options or dealer installed accessories. It would be weird if you couldn't buy bolt on stuff like that.
I thought an interesting comparison is:
4D Badlands, no options: $44590
4D Black Diamond+Squatch+auto: $44645
Plus if you want to add 2.7L To BD at that point it's $1900 more, whereas it'd be the full $3500 on BL.
Yeah, unless you gotta have that Baja mode and shiny top, every trim but Badlands optioned up as close to Wildtrak as possible is cheaper than the Wildtrak. I don't get people saying it's a great value.
It makes sense that the BL would cost more at that point since it would have more features - disconnect and armor are not free.
BD optioned out makes for a better comparison if one wanted a Wildtrak with washout interior and armor. You just lose Baja mode and access to high and lux pack.
It's $28,500 plus destination. And 32" tires (which you need to change anyway to go off road) fit without mods and add a full inch of ground clearance. But if you're looking for a reason to not buy a Bronco, don't let me stop you...
It's funny, way back in the first week or so after reveal when we were guessing prices in a thread, I looked at the prices of the Bronco Base vs Wrangler Sport. Bronco Base 2 door is about $200 more than the Wrangler, but the Bronco Base 4 Door is $1400 more than the Wrangler 4D. I guessed, at...
The manual is listed as on the 2 door in the "key feature" graphic and as standard on the 2 door. It lists the automatic on 4 door under standard features, and optional on the 2 door. It's definitely not a typo. There's an outside chance it's a mistake, but I doubt it.
The chubby guy (don't remember his name) did a video a week or two ago about the best "value" off roader, with his main criteria being something that comes with front and rear lockers. He decided to assume the Sasquatch package+auto on the Base Bronco would be more than $10,000 just so he could...
There is a height discrepancy and we know about the limited travel. Otherwise, we've been told they are the same and there was never reason to believe otherwise.
Wildtrak does not have sway bar disconnect and therefore can never be optioned to match a FE. Badlands is closer in features and price to FE when maxed out.
