Thanks, I was just curious. I would stop on my way to work and put some E85 in if it was the case lol. That's o.k., I like it so far. Drives much better!
I had my procal tuner installed yesterday for my 2.3l Bronco. So far so good, but I am trying to display the gouges, and the screen keeps going blank randomly and turning back on. Its not reseting, the screen just randomly goes blank. Anyone else experienc this? May have to reach out to them...
That different than the noise I hear in mine. These motors make all sorts of weird noises... so far I haven't had any symptoms of the engine eating itself alive or anything. But its concerning that there may be a failure in the future of some component or another.
No unfortunately not. It still comes and goes. I did have a person on Facebook mention that they had a similar noise and it was apparently the A/C tensioner pulley. Idk how to go about diagnosising this because it doesn't always immediately start making this noise.
Dealers don't want to...
As the title suggests, I'm wondering if the ECM will add a little extra if you throw in some E85 with your 93? Coming from a different vehicle that I had a specific tune to run E30 mix (93 with a few gallons of E85) does anyone know if it will increase power because it senses less knock and...
Since I could tell a difference I figured it must still work. I opted for the 3 in 1 by itself just as a time saver. It took me forever like 5 1/2 - 6hrs from start to finish. My doors took ages to do having to do the Butyl then the foam. But its not easy with how you have to basically apply...
I live in Florida so I'm not sure about road salts. But there is a heat shield underneath it, and I think the Butyl should be O.K. with the foil backing. But who knows, I might have it melt off in the summer haha. Only time will tell.
I did it because I was trying to cover any possible area...
I wanted to also show what I did yesterday! I also completed the rear cargo area of my 4 door. I had previously used Siless 80mm Butyl & the foam they sell on my doors and footwell. It was a lot of work doing both so I decided to also try the 3 in 1 they sell since it's essentially the same...
Thanks, that's a good idea to just wait. I know its not a priority repair like cam phasers on the 2.7l etc. I'll just clean it up from time to time until it gets bad.
Good afternoon,
I noticed recently that my timing cover appears to have a slow leak. I cleaned it up my first oil change, and it's definitely leaking. From what I can find, this appears to be relatively common. But I'm concerned about if it's worth taking it into the dealer. I believe they...
