They just do that for appearances. I'm on my second transmission with the same noise. During the first one they gave me a case id and then ghosted me for a month. When I finally got them to answer me they told me to talk to my dealer.

@Broncover I have AR stirrups attached to the rock rails on my 4DR..would these cause an issue installing the cover?

Over 2 months waiting and the replacement transmission is in. Dealership says they're backed up and can't replace until August 🙄 When all is said and done it will be over 4 months from diagnosis to replacement 🤮

@Teh_Chonco I did and then quickly refinanced to get a better rate before the 1st payment was due. The whole process at the sale was quick and painless

I got mine at Tasca in Cranston. Communication was rough but in the end I got what I wanted at MSRP

It makes sense and as frustrating as it is I'd rather the full replacement.

Updated the other MT noise thread yesterday on my status but for those keeping track here..the new slave cylinder the dealership was waiting on came in. Before they started working on my rig they took a closer look and decided it was best to replace the whole transmission. No ETA when it will be...

Add me to the full transmission replacement list. They got a closer look at it and determined that was the safest route. I hate that a brand new vehicle needs it but I'd much rather a new transmission than a piece by piece swap out.

Just looked at the tracking sheet for the first time in a while.. Love seeing all that green next to shipped! Here's to the rest of you getting yours just in time for the warm weather!

Mine says its the slave cylinder which just came in today. I was told with any luck I will have it on Wednesday. Not feeling optimistic this will be over on Wed... I have a feeling I will end up having to wait for a full transmission when all is said and done.

Has there been any other trims reporting this? I may have missed some and it could be a coincidence but it seems its all Badlands reporting the problem
