Why would you order a hitch and harness instead of having it installed at the factory? Seems like a lot of wasted time.

The vehicle may be new but the engine and transmission are not. I am sure there are control system differences, but the bones are the same. I hope they find an easy fix and get you back on the road.

I am just going on what the dealer told me last week. In all fairness, he told me last month it should be late July early August. Lol.

I have a 7/16 reservation date and was told I will get it this year.......sometime.........this year.

The 2.7 has a good track record, but all manufacturers have lemons, just look at Chrysler/dodge/Daimler/ fiat/ Stallatis. :LOL:

Perhaps Ford should consult extang in Ann Arbor. They have hard bed top with a honeycomb construction that does not show through.

Not so sure on that bar. Buddy of mine had a nice ss smitty built that destroyed the whole front clip of his pickup instead of just damaging the bumper. The RC bar looks like it is from the sxs line. Made from woballoy. Those are flimsy accessories I would expect your typical jeep guy to buy.

We had a 4 door 2.3l, 10spd, non squach, outer banks, cactus grey, st, show up at the plant today. I took a quick look at it. Mpg was listed at 20-22. I didn't catch the tire size but they were not steelies. I didn't think the mpg was too bad. Makes me wonder if my decision to change to the 2.7...

I had originally ordered the 2.3l but switched to the 2.7 when I changed to the 4 door. Both engines are a good choice. I did like the multi port injection on the 2.7 to keep intake valves clean. My question to the one reviewer is "what is eco mode?"
