Couple weeks ago while out and about

There is a performance oriented dealership here in the LA area (Galpin) that others here have used for procal installation, but I don’t know how the online labor price coincides with them. If I can select Galpin as the dealer to deliver it to, I presume they’d do it for stated price…?

Hmmm. Procal tune with install is $792 after discount, plus tax, and I have about $160 reward points I can use towards it. Worthwhile to do?

I was in a similar conundrum. Get both and they will all get along fine, that way no regrets.

2.7 auto here. I feel it more when it’s cold, then it smooths out as it warms up. Maybe the AF ratio in the tune needs to be richened up at low temps, like when an old carbureted engine with no choke stumbles when cold. My modified Silverado had this problem years ago and that’s what fixed it...
