When I lived in Arizona, I ran a Jeep wit no full top for over a year - at most I had a bikini top and doors. But I'd go without doors and only a bikini top for weeks on end.
That thing got parked in a rough part of Tucson on a regular basis (i.e. I lived in the rough part) and various...
Heh! I love the road noise! I finally upgraded the tires on my Jeep Liberty (don't laugh!!!) and my favorite thing about them is the hum from them! Now it sounds like a Jeep!
I'm waffling between 33's and 35's. I'm almost leaning towards 33's if they come if better articulation.
It has been many years since I wheeled seriously in Arizona, but my YJ with '31's did pretty darn good, just because it could articulate really well. Well articulating 33's would have been...
While I would have liked to see the Bronco make it up the obstacle, I'm not too concerned - it looked like it certainly had the capability, it just didn't get it on the first attempt or two. That isn't that abnormal when out rock crawling.
Anyone that expects every single obstacle to be sent on...
Wasn't too hard of a decision. Looked at pictures of both and I dig the 2 door for the classic, OG look. Asked the wife - what do you think - 2 door or 4 door and she said 2 door of course! Who am I to argue! Love the look of the 2 door!
Arizona trails are so awesome! Used to wheel out there with my Jeep Wrangler back in the day! Good stuff (dented my first Jeep before I'd even made the first payment!! LOL ).
In fact, picking up this Bronco with Arizona in mind, as we hope to move back in the next 3 to 4 years!
Yeah, not super impressed with that video and the hang time that rear wheel was getting.
I had a Jeep with a 2.5" lift and 31's with the rear sway bar removed and the fronts always disconnected (I was lazy and young!) that I'm pretty sure would have made that obstacle with minimal wheel lift...
Mine will be a daily driver. With that said, I like vehicles that I know can go pretty much anywhere - whether that me snow or rock crawling if we move back to Arizona in the next several years. This seems like the vehicle that can do it!
Haven't read the whole thread... I reserved aa Black Diamond, lean towards the Sasquatch, mainly for the lift.
I really could have done Base with Sasquatch, but as a formerJeep owner, carpet is a no-no for something you can go topless in, and drain plugs are a must.
I wish the Black Diamond...
The washout interior took me to Black Diamond. I probably could have handled a Base model with Sasquatch, but as a Jeep Wrangler owner that ripped out all the carpet back in the day, I like my vehicles that can go topless to be able to handle a rain shower without soggy carpet.
Made my reservation this evening, 2 Door Black Diamond. Located in Columbus, Ohio area.
I actually think I could get by with the Base and Sasquatch, but that wash out interior is calling my name (when I had a Jeep I ripped all the carpet out and took advantage of that a lot).
