No one actually answered the question from the original post and Iām looking at a similar situation. The pressed bolts are slightly wider towards the head to accommodate the holes in the shocks off the shelf bolts do not have this. This leaves play between the shock mounting holes and the bolts...
Hi, what did you end up going with? Iām looking to install new takeoffs on my bronco, but the holes on the front struts seem to be slightly larger than standard bolts in the thread size.
Hello,
for the last few months my clock for ford sync itself has been off by quite a bit. I can set it manually but it over time gets inaccurate to more than several hours. When trying to enable auto time update i tap the toggle and briefly show enabled and then disables itself. Iām not sure...
I think many of us have dogs who like to step on the goat mode dial and change the drive mode or goat mode. This cover is pretty simple and uses double sided sticky tape and a paper clip as a hinge. Fits the auto not sure on the manual...
I've read throught his thread but still a bit unsure. Would it be possible to add brake hold to my base bronco? or is it not possible due to not having the ability to have adaptive cruise control?
I just found this thread and figured I'd share some the files I have. The only ones I sell are the ones that I have finished cnc'd prototypes to help recoup the costs to do prove they work with cnc tolerances. The holy grail is for sure the roof panel. I purchased a 3d scanner to get a mesh but...
I've decided to list the files for sale on cults3d to allow anyone to either send them to a machine shop or a 3d printing service online. I have the links to the crossbar mount, siderail mount, and hood tie down below. An easy to use 3d printing service I have used in the past is...
The quote on getting a machined version of the hood tie down was 1k usd each so for now I will just use plastic if I want to have my version on there. I figured I'd also share those files here if anyone wants to make something of their own with it. It looks very similar to the above picture...
Just took a look at the PCBway site and thank you to whoever donated but that is seriously not necessary and I didn't even realize it was an option. I thought I'd go over the process of ordering from their site. Here is a link to a video of my showing the order process . I am not affiliated in...
Unfortunately, looks like there is no way to get to the preorder numbers after a few weeks being live. If you have placed an order thank you for the support but your order has already been refunded. If you'd still like to purchase a mount you can still do so through a sharing feature on PCBway...
For me personally I will use both side rail and crossbar mounts to mount high gain directional antenna. But anything from lights, hooks, jacks, awnings, or really anything that will bolt to it. I've also been toying around with a starlink dish adapter but no real progress to show on that as of now.
Final prototype came in today and fits very well over the side rail. Finish is consistent all over and threads are not affected by the anodizing. I'm happy with it and as of this post I have opened up the preorder. Slight change to the preorder is I've changed it to be a preorder of 50...
Just made the preorder for the crossbar mount live incase someone wants those as well. To be clear I'll be holding off ordering until the preorder fills.
I could also open a preorder/batch for the crossbar mount if enough people are interested. Would be a similar deal with 25 pairs. The crossbar mount is complete and have verified the cnc version fits perfectly.
