Brilliant design exploration. Ford has a great team working on this brand. They left nothing to chance and made sound design decisions along the way to the final launch version of the Bronco.
Add to that FCA is merging with French company Peugeot to form the new company "Stellantis" next year. Uncertainty will plague all US based brands in 2021 and beyond.
Trying to diminish the new Bronco and Bronco Sport is FCAs way of soothing their dealers worries, even pulling out the V8 concept as proof that Jeep is still relevant. With FCA merging with Peugeot and becoming "Stellantis" next year, the uncertainty about Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and RAMs future...
Why didn't Ford take this option along when testing over the Rubicon and Moab? Looks like that extra clearance and increased tire size would have been helpful.
Apple has enabled iPhone and iWatch with its Digital Car Key functionality. Several manufacturers already support this. Will Ford support this function with the new Bronco?
That's good news for everyone looking forward to specing out a new Bronco! I'm a white grill and top fan and I'm also looking at installing white steel wheels (or have some alloy wheels made like the Icon Broncos) for extended street use.
I sent an email to my Ford press contact. They responded that the post looks misleading and the they (Ford) will be contacting the dealer. I'll post if I get any further information.
I still get a page with repeating 60 second timer. As an aside, the repeating 60 second timer is so disingenuous if it keeps resetting after zero.
I was able to make my reservation last night around 8:20 p.m. after 3 hours of trying with Firefox, then Safari and finally Chrome browsers...
They had to respond somehow. And just think of how the Jeep team had to wait just like we did before they could spring their little teaser. The point is now, people now will have a choice. Competition is good.
