I am having the same issue but I thought the fuse was under the hood, behind the battery (based on the manual). I found what I thought was the right fuse and pulled it out, looked fine, so I replaced it. Still have a black screen. Also, I disconnected my battery but only for about 10 seconds...

Disconnected the negative side of the battery. Still not working. Any other ideas?

Turn off, meaning disconnect battery?

Getting a "audio off" message and Sync 4 screen is black on new FE. I tried to reset it by holding the power button and forward for 10 seconds or whatever but it will not reboot. Any ideas?

There are other threads indicating about 922 2 doors and 3800 4 doors. This is based on people providing their VIN's looking through postings on eBay, etc. Dealers have done look-ups as well and can't locate VINS beyond these numbers.
