I haven't gotten to it yet. I have not had much quality time with Bronco (it was in the shop for a while, then body shop, then I was in the Philippines and Florida without the Bronco). I also got distracted by a shiny new toy at the same time.
As some who has rolled a Miata and not a Bronco, you can roll anything... The Bronco is surprisingly stable and actually drifts corners pretty well (and that's a 2 door).
I wouldn't be any more worried about rolling the Bronco versus anything else, especially the Outer Banks on the factory...
I didn't read all 7 pages of this, but regarding your overly cautious daughter who is unlikely to go over 60-65 on the freeway/interstate, that is more scary than what vehicle she may or may not drive. Drivers who are afraid, overly cautious, and driving at speeds that are too slow are wrecks...
You can get Brembo front and rear pads for $100 from Rockauto....
I know, Brembo, what junk.
They even had a kit from another brand, all 4 rotors and pads for $267.
It's not like you are getting drilled and slotted rotors! Which Rockauto had for about $400 for all for wheels.
I have never...
Just so you know, these are completely unreliable vehicles, mine has needed more than 24 oil changes so far!
Just oil change after oil change after oil change.
120,000 miles, and you would think that they'd fix this problem! I have also had to replace a lot of gasoline too! It's just junk!
Maybe so, but you can still run JBV1 in standalone mode and still get heat maps, crowd sourced alerts, and red light/speed camera alerts, plus much more. Highly recommend JBV1, it's free.... and it's effective even without a detector.
Purchased the 2021 2.7 OBX advanced 4x4 lux package for $48. HD Steering rack was about $1k, 4.7 rear gears and 4.7 M210 FDU was 1.5k, Eibach ProTruck 2.0 suspension was $900.
I guess that I can call it a Sasquatch now.
My 2021 2-door hard top is crack free on the exterior. I guess that stay on dirt mountain was the magic.
24x7 outdoors primarily in San Angelo TX (brutally hot summers, freezing temps in the winter).
If this was available for the 2 door, I would buy it in a heartbeat. It's probably safer than the roto-paks on the side of my Bronco.
Then again, I purchased a CFMOTO 800NK motorcycle... which I trust my life to at highway speeds.
My girlfriend has a '24 Ecoboost Mustang Premium Performance Package (no B&O) and it sounds better than the '21 Bronco OBX Lux package B&O ever did. The '25+ Bronco B&O is another story altogether.
I have 120,000 miles on my Bronco, chew on that my friend. I too, purchased my Bronco new in 2021.
My Bronco is also in for warranty work right now related to the 360 cameras. The Eibachs don't void the warranty, unless they caused the failure. Even my replacement of the lux package DSP with...
I would be concerned about the cv joint having been separated and them not replacing the internal clip that retains the CV. Ask me how I know!
BTW, the axle will stay together without the clip, even at full extension with a 2.5" lift.
The only reason the original clamp let go was because the...
Dammit... No one told me that the Eibach Pro-truck 2.0, RockJock trackbar relocation bracket, 4WP adjustable track bar, and Zone UCA's was the wrong way.
Now I have to live a life of regret with my fully ride height adjustable suspension that cost me less money than the only ONE "right way" to...
